Chapter 1698: Gene Linkage (3)

"How did it go, Song Yun? How many steel ingots did we collect in total?"

Song Yun said, "We collected a total of 68,559 pieces."

Zhao Chi nodded: "Good, there's still about 40,000 pieces or so left. Thank you for your hard work."

"My lord, you're too kind."

The loyalty of those female squad leaders had all risen to 10 points as well. Although they had different divisions of labor, Zhao Chi could trust them completely.

"Then you keep receiving here, I'll go take a look at the armory."

"Mm, alright, my lord."

Entered the armory.

Still a busy scene.

Flames and sparks everywhere, along with all kinds of clanging forging sounds.

Zhao Chi slowly walked around inside the armory and saw that half of the blacksmiths had already begun forging steel ingots.

Ding Dang, accompanying him, said: "We had been making iron-type Extreme Heavy Mystic Maiden Armor before, and it would be a shame to just abandon it, so I gathered those semi-finished products into the hands of half the people, and the other half started forging steel-type Mystic Maiden Armor."

"Your arrangement is excellent. How much longer until those iron armors are finished?"

"Expected by tomorrow noon, they're already in the final stages."

Zhao Chi nodded: "Good, just produce according to the list I gave you."

Ding Dang smiled: "I know, 1,000 sets of shield armor, 1,000 weapons. But steel armor is more difficult, and everyone still lacks proficiency with steel armor, so I had them slow down. After all, it's the first time, so the focus is on accumulating experience."

"Good, no problem. After all, you all have expert-level skills now, so taking it slow, the success rate can still be guaranteed."

"Yes, I thought the same."

"Alright, then you all carry on, I'll go take a look at Chaoge Town."

"Alright, my lord, take care on your way."

Chaoge Town.

The moment he entered, he smelled a vegetable scent.

Mingled with the women's body fragrance and the floral scent of fertilizer.

Those flower demons with big fluttering wings were still gnawing on cabbages, already gnawing down to the base of the cabbage, about to finish them off soon.

The several thousand newly arrived flower demons also had cabbages to eat, and every flower demon looked very happy.

Just cabbages, and there's plenty.

They had just harvested 3,900 tons of cabbages. At 3 kilograms per head, that's roughly 1.3 million heads.

Zhao Chi's several warehouses were all stuffed full, but there were still many that couldn't fit.

Fang Li's construction team was continuously building warehouses.

So it was fine to let the flower demons eat their fill, and besides, they were very petite in size, only about 1 meter tall, so even if they ate their hardest, they could only eat half a head a day.

10,000 flower demons couldn't eat that much at all.

And in just a few more days, even more cabbages would be produced.

Just as Zhuang Ya had said.

The entire land of Chaoge Town was about to be fully developed.

Plots of farmland spread out one after another.

The entire Chaoge Town was flat as far as the eye could see.

Farmland and warehouses everywhere.

The central area was mainly filled with the figures of flower demons, half eating cabbages, half working diligently.

The crops in the farmland were growing splendidly.

In just over ten more days, they would turn into a golden sea.

On the outskirts were nearly 8,000 prisoners and 1,500 rat-men, covered in mud as they cultivated the last of the farmland.

Zhuang Ya patrolled the perimeter nonstop, head held high and chest out, brimming with confidence.

Fire mage squad leader Xia Yan and combat squad leader Wei Leng both followed closely behind.

The slaves were dejected, but the work in their hands didn't dare to slow down at all, all working with all their might.

Zhao Chi didn't disturb them.

Teleported to Yunmeng Village.

Yunmeng Village had also been built for over 20 days, the harbor was already finished, and small boats were docked at every pier.
