Chapter 171: Instructor Dispute

Back to the situation in Class 4.

Zhao Chi searched for a long time, yet didn't see a single student from Class 4.

Could it be that only he was left?

Zhao Chi quickly confirmed.

Sure enough, Cao Feng, Lu Yi, Duan Yun, and several others had all already withdrawn.

After this 7th stage ended, the number of remaining students had sharply dropped from 97 to 19.

The entire Class 4 was left with only Zhao Chi.

Now both the class group and the grade group were full of complaints.

From the 4th stage's lightning element, to the 5th stage's wailing ghosts, there were people complaining.

And the 6th stage's Naga warriors, and this 7th stage's earth puppets, drew the most complaints.

It was nothing more than saying the difficulty was high and such.

Zhao Chi also felt the difficulty was high.

Duan Yun 【No good, I really can't beat this stage. I planned to draw out all the earth puppets' skills before fighting, but the stone spikes are too fast, hard to dodge. After losing 5 soldiers I withdrew, really can't beat it】

Lu Yi 【Right, this stage is too hard. Those earth puppets' defense and HP are both extremely high, arrows are useless. My few elf warriors were all specced into movement speed, yet it's still hard to dodge the stone spikes. One stone spike can pierce right through the leather boots and stab through the soles of their feet】

Li Xun 【Huh? Aren't elves very agile? They can't dodge either?】

Lu Yi 【Most can dodge, but as long as they fail to dodge once their legs get injured, then they'll be stabbed to death one after another by the continuously shooting stone spikes】

Li Xun 【That miserable? Good thing I withdrew last stage】

Kong Xiang 【Brother Cao, how did you do this stage? Why did you withdraw too? How many earth puppets did you kill?】

Yin Lan 【Duan Yun, you're already very impressive. Not many people can last until this stage】

Zhuang Xiao 【Last stage those Naga warriors already made me feel hopeless, didn't expect this stage to be even worse. Really don't know how the 19 people who passed this time did it】

Sun Quan 【Just threw money at it】

Yuan Lang 【Right, they all have family backing, plenty of soldiers unafraid of death. If I had 20 more soldiers, I'd have passed this stage too】

Duan Yun 【But Zhao Chi passed too】

Yuan Lang 【Too amazing. Zhao Chi, how did you pass? And besides stone spikes, the earth puppets' close-combat ability is also very strong. You guys didn't see it — those two big stone fists smashing down bang bang bang, just like hammers】

Kong Xiang 【Brother Cao?】

Yang Xiong 【Your Brother Cao is playing dead】

Lu Yi 【Zhao Chi passed? Wow, really? Zhao Chi, how did you pass? That's too amazing, right?】

Yang Xiong 【Probably resting, hasn't checked the group. Anyway, he's truly badass】

Li Ke 【Just luck】

Shi Juan 【Ranking high once is nothing impressive, everyone has their lucky moments】

Yang Xiong 【Luck your mom, you f***ing show me some luck? Want to try letting your Brother Cao have some luck? What are you few little lackeys still barking about?】

Kong Xiang 【Brother Cao, say something?】

Yang Xiong 【Haha, right, Cao Feng, say something】

Cao Feng never replied.

Zhao Chi also hadn't checked the group.

This rest period was too short.

He only glanced at the rankings, saw that Cao Feng had already withdrawn, and the pressure in his heart instantly dissipated.

That bet was won.

The remaining stages no longer mattered; if the next stage was too difficult, he could consider giving up.

As for first place in the grade, he hadn't thought about it yet.
