Chapter 2653

Although they don't sag at all, they really do flop around wildly when running.

Qi Yue had long known this, but to let Zhao Chi's test be more accurate, she didn't care.

And Tang Ruan...

is F-grade.

If she doesn't put one on, they really will slap her in the face.

Even wearing one now only helps a little — from two flopping independently, they became two flopping in sync.

Quite something.

Qi Yue quickly ran back, panting a bit more than before.

"My lord, no problem, it feels about the same as just now. The air resistance really can barely be felt, and the speed can be raised a notch."

"Is the increase in speed about the same as when wearing the outfit?"

"Right, about the same."

At this moment, Tang Ruan also came back.

The moment she stopped, she hurriedly pressed down that pair of bouncing perfect ones.

"My lord, this way and the way just now aren't much different, the increase is about the same."

Zhao Chi nodded and smiled: "Understood, thank you both for your hard work, put your clothes back on quickly."

"Mm!"

The two put their outfits back on.

Now it can be confirmed.

The "Slick Skin" gene also takes effect when wearing clothes and equipment — no need to be naked.

This is actually more like a permanent buff state.

Feels a bit unscientific...

But in this world, what does science even matter?

This gene having this effect is actually better!

Then let's try one last time.

Running at ultra-high speed.

Let's see what happens.

Zhao Chi said: "There's one last attempt, the distance is still 500 meters back and forth."

"No problem!" Tang Ruan buttoned up her shirt tightly.

"I'm ready too." Qi Yue said softly.

Zhao Chi's arm lit up with radiance.

The effect of Swift Wind Step immediately activated on the two of them.

Under the dual enhancement of Swift Wind Step and stockings, their movement speed was terrifying.

The result of this test would be more obvious.

"Begin!"

At Zhao Chi's command, the two women shot out instantly.

This speed was clearly much, much faster than just now.

The two were simply lightning-fast.

Two very obvious clouds of dust rose into the air, and the ground was covered with a series of small high-heel footprints.

A distance of one kilometer, finished in less than one minute.

Qi Yue said in amazement: "My lord, the effect is even more obvious after the speed boost. Before, when moving at high speed, the wind resistance was very strong, sometimes I couldn't keep my eyes open. But now the resistance is clearly much smaller, it's more effortless than before, and faster too. My eyes can stay open the whole time, unaffected."

Zhao Chi nodded and asked: "Compared to just now when Swift Wind Step wasn't used? Is the reduction in resistance very obvious?"

"Yes, very obvious!"

"Good, I understand."

This proves that the 90% resistance reduction isn't a fixed value, but a floating value.

It changes in real time based on the magnitude of the resistance.

Not bad!

The running test is done, swimming remains.

The moment Tang Ruan ran back, Zhao Chi pointed at Carefree Spring: "Let's go, swimming!"

He had originally wanted them to test the resistance effect in the water again, but Carefree Spring already had over a hundred women swimming and testing inside.

Zhao Chi smiled and asked them about the effect.

They all answered at once:

"Yes, my lord, the resistance is very, very small!"

"That's right! I swim twice as fast as usual!"

"Yes, yes, yes! And the buoyancy isn't affected, I can still float in the water."

"Exactly, and the ability to move in the water is very strong, I feel like I've almost become an aquatic race."

"Haha, me too."

"Wei Yu and those fishing team sisters must be very happy."

"Yeah, being this amazing in the water, they could practically catch fish barehanded."

"I feel like I'm even more amazing than fish."

"Huh? No way? I think fish are still more amazing."

"Don't change the subject, my lord is asking how we feel."

"Oh, hehe, it feels pretty good."

The women kept talking about their respective experiences and feelings.

Then Zhao Chi had no further questions.

This gene is also a very good auxiliary-type gene.

And it has quite excellent beauty-enhancing effects.

Now the skin of Taoyuan's women is already top-tier.

I'm afraid even the skin of high-ranking succubi can't compare with the women of the Taoyuan tribe.

"My lord! My lord!"

At this moment Tang Ruan suddenly grabbed Zhao Chi's hand, her eyes wide open, her face full of pleasant surprise.

Zhao Chi asked in confusion, "What's wrong? I didn't use any energy on you…"

Tang Ruan called out, "No! It's the system telling me my genes have met the linkage condition!"

"Huh!?"

Zhao Chi was also startled: "Send it to me quickly, let me see."

"Okay… sent it over!"

Zhao Chi hurriedly opened the message.

【Congratulations, you simultaneously possess the "Hardened Scale Skin" and "Lubricated Skin" genes, and have met the linkage condition. You may set the linkage effect. Once set, it cannot be changed.】

This time the system notification addressed 【you】 rather than 【Taoyuan Human Clan】.

This means this linkage effect only takes effect for Tang Ruan alone…

No, wait — shouldn't it be able to take effect for the entire Jade Clan?

Zhao Chi immediately asked the few Jade Clan female soldiers in the spring.

As a result, they all shook their heads.

He asked Qi Yue, and Qi Yue also shook her head.

It seemed only Tang Ruan had received this notification.

But Tang Ruan is the bloodline lord of the Jade Clan, so once she sets the linkage, the entire Jade Clan should benefit as well.

Then set it immediately.

"Tang Ruan, I'll help you set it."

"Mm~ okay!"

Entering the settings interface.
