Chapter 2953: Metamorphosis (15)

Fuyao's change is too great.

It's really not just her figure and looks.

Her personality has completely changed too.

Zhao Chi laughed and said, "You've even changed your personality now. The Fuyao from just earlier couldn't have said something like this."

Fuyao said gently, "The me from that state was still very immature and really shy. Thank you for taking care of me just now."

"You don't have to do that…"

"Ouch… don't go that deep yet, didn't we say we'd take it slow? Don't just rush in because I look older. You still have to treat me like I'm 18 and take care of me gently, okay?"

Zhao Chi said helplessly, "It's not my fault—your legs hooked me for a second."

"Huh? Oh, right, right, right, hehe, I wronged you~"

"It's fine. Can you tell me why you had this kind of change?"

Fuyao said softly, "Isn't it because I absorbed all that from you that I became like this~ This way, the great tree's reproduction function can be activated."

Zhao Chi said in surprise, "So it only works this way? Without me, you can't reproduce like the Tree of Life?"

Fuyao said with a pout, "Yuck, what woman can reproduce all on her own?"

Zhao Chi scratched his head: "So then… in the future, will all the lives born from the Eternal Tree be my descendants?"

Fuyao raised an eyebrow: "Hmph! Dream on~ If you want me to have babies, you'll have to protect me well for 10 months. The lives born from the Eternal Tree aren't your descendants—I just need you to activate it so I can use the great tree's original reproduction ability."

"Activate? Why does it have to be me who activates it?"

"I was transformed from you, so naturally I need your consent."

"Verbal consent isn't enough?"

Fuyao glanced at him and said, "What? You don't want to?"

"Of course I don't not want to, it just feels a little strange."

"What's so strange about it? You turned me into a woman, so to activate the great tree's reproduction ability, of course we have to do it this way too. Isn't that perfectly reasonable?"

"Alright, that does make sense. So the activation you mentioned is you turning into how you look now?"

"Of course."

"Let me see what new changes you have…"
