Chapter 532: Zhao Chi's Fashion

Binghe County.

Located in the southwest of Snow Plains Prefecture.

Located in the northwest of Stream Village.

Zhao Chi rarely went there.

Or rather, since he transmigrated here, he rarely went.

Most of his time was spent cramming knowledge about this world, so he paid little attention to anything else.

But today, to buy some necessary props, he still had to make a trip.

At first, it was fast.

But once he reached the outskirts of Binghe County, it slowed down.

Pedestrians and vehicles on both sides kept increasing, all jammed together.

Forward progress was slow.

After great difficulty reaching the edge of the county town, Zhao Chi immediately got off.

Although there was still some distance to the Exchange, walking was faster.

This truly deserved to be a county town.

Quite prosperous.

There were many people, and the shop decorations on both sides were even more luxurious.

There were even some luxury goods stores.

Zhao Chi walked and browsed as he went.

Before reaching the Exchange, he was drawn to a men's clothing store.

Zhao Chi had no particular demands for clothing, but this was a men's fashion store.

Then he absolutely had to browse it.

Fashion also belonged to luxury goods.

Ordinary fashion wasn't expensive, priced at roughly a few hundred or a thousand.

Improved fashion, however, never went below a thousand, basically all priced in the thousands.

As for super-improved fashion, it was priced in the high thousands, even close to ten thousand.

This was the price for standard quality.

Above standard quality was good quality, and above that was excellent quality.

The higher the quality, the better the attributes.

But the crafting difficulty was too high.

Zhao Chi could see the success rate and quality values, but even so, he found it very hard to craft items of very high quality.

Because success rate and quality were not linearly related.

Sometimes the success rate was very high, but the quality value was extremely low, yet other times it could be very high — there was no pattern at all.

Sometimes the success rate was extremely low, but the quality index was strangely high, yet one careless slip and the craft would fail outright.

This probably required a great deal of trial and error, and very high professional skill to succeed.

This also caused fashion of different qualities to have huge price differences.

He entered the fashion store.

There were quite a few people inside, all looking at the information tags outside the fashion items.

A female sales associate nearby came over enthusiastically.

"Mr., what kind of fashion are you looking for?"

This was a men's clothing store, but the staff were all female sales associates.

Zhao Chi shook his head: "You don't need to mind me, I'm just browsing casually."

"Mm, alright, call me anytime if you need anything."

Zhao Chi browsed casually.

This fashion store sold all attribute fashion.

It could add some branch attributes.

Zhao Chi took a liking to a hat that increased learning by 15%, rough-quality items, 2000 copper coins.

And a pair of glasses that increased efficiency by 20%, standard quality, 3500 copper coins.

Although not cheap, Zhao Chi could afford it.

Only the quality wasn't very good.

No matter, go browse other places.

There were quite a few fashion stores in the county town.

Besides specialized men's clothing stores like this, there were also comprehensive fashion stores.

As well as single-attribute specialty stores.

Right next to the Exchange, Zhao Chi discovered a specialty store that exclusively sold "Intelligence branch attribute fashion."

There were quite a few people inside too.

A female sales associate came up enthusiastically again.

"Hello Mr., is there any fashion you need?"

This time Zhao Chi had a goal.

"Mm, I want to buy some fashion that increases learning or efficiency, preferably with higher quality."

The female sales associate smiled warmly: "Yes, would super-improved fashion be alright?"
