Chapter 567

Zhao Chi didn't quite understand, but there were notes.

Simply put, every battle would award points.

The closer the points, the smaller the chance of being matched.

The greater the point difference, the greater the chance of being matched.

In other words, strong versus strong was less likely to be matched.

Weak versus weak was also less likely to be matched.

This prevented the strong from meeting in the early rounds and being eliminated too soon.

It allowed the strong to survive until the end as much as possible.

This pre-registration had 88 people.

About the same as before.

With 88 people, that meant at most 7 matches would be needed.

Quite a few lucky ones would probably get a bye first, reducing it to 6 matches.

That didn't matter much.

Although virtual battles couldn't grant upgrade experience, they could provide a large amount of practical combat experience, including combat experience like saber techniques.

Being able to fight one more match wasn't a bad thing.

The way this tournament awarded prizes was nice.

All the prizes were pooled together and freely chosen from.

That way, one could pick the prize they needed most.

And the higher the ranking, the earlier the pick.

Very reasonable.

The champion not only picked first, but could also pick 3 items.

Picking first was the most important thing.

After all, although every clan provided prizes of reliable quality, there were still differences between good and bad.

The runner-up and third place both picked 2 items.

After the top 3 finished picking, the 4th place picked, and so on until the last place.

No wonder Zhao Jiao was so indignant about getting 11th place last time.

Just a little short, and ended up with nothing.

Normally, this kind of single-elimination tournament would easily decide the top 8.

But the 9th and 10th places were generally not easy to compare.

This tournament had points, so 9th and 10th place were decided by points.

Then he clicked 【Prize List】
