Chapter 782

Feathers are also hair, so of course they can!

A cow covered in feathers?

Why does it feel a bit eerie?

Then it shouldn't count as a cow anymore, right?

Should these data be transferred or not?

Zhao Chi hesitated a little.

But on second thought, even stranger creatures like goblins, harpies, and naga warriors exist.

There are even skeletons.

So what's the big deal with having cows covered in feathers?

Transfer!

Pigs have a very high fat content; fat can be rendered into cooking oil and fire oil. Transfer!

Pigs are omnivores, while cows are herbivores. Can dietary habits be transferred?

Yes!

Transfer!

Let it be omnivorous and also able to eat grass.

Beef has very tough texture and tastes quite dry.

Transfer the best-tasting data from pork and chicken as well, making the beef more tender.

There were many more detailed data points; Zhao Chi transferred all of them to the best option.

Finally, the transfer was complete.

〖Current data match rate is low; transfer success rate is 0%. Confirm? 〗

Haha, of course it would be 0%.

This is practically no longer a cow.

Zhao Chi smiled and invested 10 racial improvement points, pulling the probability to 100%, and clicked confirm.

〖Data transfer successful〗

At this moment, the system sent a prompt:

【A completely new race has been detected. Please name this race】

As expected!

The system also thinks it's a new species.

Since it's a cow covered in feathers, let's call it Feather Cow.

After all, when naming animals, naming them based on their appearance is the most intuitive and easiest to recognize.

【Feather Cow has been successfully named】

The Feather Cow's information is simply heaven-defying.

Just looking at it makes one feel it's incredibly powerful.

Every single stat is flawless.

Zhao Chi couldn't wait to see what this new breed of cow looked like and immediately chose to obtain it.

Instantly, a burst of light gathered around.

The light gradually solidified, and 30 pairs of Feather Cows appeared before his eyes.

The moment he saw them, Zhao Chi couldn't help but step back.

After all, the appearance of these Feather Cows was too different from regular cows.

Overall, it indeed had the body shape and outline of a cow.

There were also cow horns on the top of its head.

But these 30 pairs, 60 cows in total, were entirely covered in feathers, which was truly jaw-dropping at first glance.

The colors of the feathers on their bodies varied.

Some were pure white all over, very beautiful.

There were also pure black, pure yellow, pure red, and mixed colors.

The forehead and cheeks had relatively fine, dense down, while the body had very coarse, stiff, fluffy large feathers, extremely dense and solid.

So many feathers — it must get really hot in summer.

But Zhao Chi had also transferred the corresponding data over, so they wouldn't feel any discomfort.

In terms of build, they were also a little rounder than normal cattle.

That was because they carried more body fat.

The surrounding village women also saw this brand-new species and all crowded around.

They weren't afraid at all — their eyes were full of curiosity.

Zhao Chi also stepped forward slowly.

He found that these feathered cattle all had very gentle temperaments, with no trace of hostility in their eyes.

Seeing people, they weren't scared either, all lowering their heads and grazing on their own.

Zhao Chi couldn't help reaching out to stroke one.

Very smooth.

Just the normal feel of feathers.

"My lord, what is this? Is it a cow?"

"It looks like a cow, but how does it have so many feathers?"

"So fat — look at their bellies, all round and plump."

"They have horns — is it a new breed?"

"This white one is so pretty, it looks really clean."

"I like that red one."

"The spotted ones are so pretty."

The village women chattered away, and a few of them gently petted the feathered cattle.

Zhao Chi nodded: "That's right, it's a new breed of feathered cattle. From now on it'll be our exclusive breed."

They all let out an amazed "Wow."

Hunting squad leader Yang Lu pointed to the side.

"My lord, the twelve cows you just bought — compared to these feathered cattle, which are better?"

Not far away, the cows Zhao Chi had spent 30 gold coins on were grazing in the woods.

He hadn't obtained the 【Random Livestock Treasure Chest】 earlier, so he'd bought them.

If he'd known, he wouldn't have bought them.

30 gold coins is no small sum.

Zhao Chi said: "Of course these feathered cattle are better. The feathered cattle, along with our Experience Fruit and wheat, are all secrets — everyone, don't tell outsiders."

The village women all nodded.
