Chapter 89: Aphrodisiac

After much deliberation.

Zhao Chi decided to choose between movement speed and defense.

The Taoyuan people's stats were all decent, with naturally fast movement speed.

Adding movement speed would indeed make combat very comfortable.

But considering safety and the stability of direct combat, defense was still better.

Moreover, the legs and feet were harder to defend compared to other areas.

After all, they were the farthest from the body.

The most convenient area for a shield to defend was still the upper body.

If the stockings also added defense, the overall defense could be raised to a whole new level.

And even if movement speed was fast, if the legs and feet were injured, movement speed would still be affected.

This time, improve defense first.

Next time, he could re-improve a pair that added movement speed.

Depending on the situation, he could have them switch to different stockings.

When traveling, wear the ones that added movement speed.

When fighting, wear the ones that added defense.

Dedicated stockings for dedicated use.

This time, add defense first.

Zhao Chi began the improvement:

〖Current improvement has met the conditions for "Grafted Jade," transfer information? 〗

Click transfer.

〖Please select transfer target〗

Select 2, Defense.

〖Please select transfer effect〗

Transfer the 2 points allocated to Cleanliness to the 5 points allocated to Defense; Defense's allocation became:

【2, Defense 10%】2 points

〖First-time transfer of improvement data, restriction lifted, success rate 100%, confirm? 〗

If Zhao Chi had more money, he would definitely buy the most suitable, higher-grade improvement manual to perform the data transfer.

But he didn't.

And he didn't plan to wait either.

Many things, many opportunities, were gone once you waited too long.

For example, confessing.

For example, being filial to one's parents.

Click confirm.

Then select Defense for all allocation points.

【Your improvement is as follows】:

【2, Defense 10%】×5

【Confirm?】

Confirm again.

In an instant, it felt as if something had appeared in the territory.

As if a thin veil shrouded the surroundings.

But upon closer inspection, there was nothing there.

The system sent a notification:

【Congratulations, your territory already has mastered the "Ultra-Silky Type" stocking improvement technology】

Huh?

Zhao Chi looked at the system notification, somewhat surprised.

Wasn't it supposed to boost defense? What does it have to do with silkiness?

Did he add the wrong thing?
