Chapter 308: 51,000 Ability Points! Allocate Points!

Hm? He actually agreed?

Xu Ping was utterly astonished upon hearing Ling Shuang's response.

Could Xu Jingming still have some hidden card capable of overpowering our two universities' alliance?

This was the first thought that surfaced in Xu Ping's mind.

There was no choice—Xu Jingming's performance in both team and solo events had been terrifyingly overwhelming.

It had left even him, as vice president, with psychological scars.

But then he reconsidered: Wang Qi and Han Shan had joined forces, plus the other members from Jingda and Jindag.

Even if Xu Jingming had some hidden card, it should be impossible for him to turn the tide.

Could Ling Shuang be bluffing?

Realizing this, Xu Ping exhaled in relief and nodded with a smile:

"Since President Ling is so in the mood, I'll join you.

One SS-class resource and one S-class resource—I bet Jingda will win the Survival Contest."

"Agreed." Ling Shuang gave a slight nod in assent.

In truth, based on what she knew of Xu Jingming's strength, victory was impossible.

Yet for some reason, she just felt he had the ability to create miracles...

As the audience had expected, after Jingda and Jindag united, they became overwhelmingly dominant.

Within just two or three days, they eliminated every contestant they encountered—except those from Jingda and Jindag.

As for Ma Da's contestants, when alone, they could still flee if they couldn't defeat a Jingda or Jindag fighter.

But now, with both schools united, under coordinated encirclement, Ma Da's contestants couldn't even escape!

They were swiftly eliminated down to only Xu Jingming, Kong Shi, and Gu Wan.

Thus, the Survival Contest quickly reached its seventh day.

On this day at 9 a. m., the contest map and all contestants' positions would be revealed.

The Survival Contest would enter its most brutal phase of slaughter.

Yet before eight a. m., Kong Shi of Ma Da was found first by Wang Qi and others.

"Wang Qi, Han Shan, Zou Taizhi..."

"No wonder your scores have been steadily rising lately—you've allied together."

In the dense forest,

Kong Shi had already activated his ability, his bear-transformed body towering over three meters tall.

In his right hand he held a battle blade; in his left, a shield as large as a gate.

Before him, not far off, stood Wang Qi's combined team from both universities.

After days of searching, the team now numbered eleven!

Six were from Jingda; five were from Jindag.

All had activated their abilities, their auras powerful and ferocious.

"Kong Shi, surrender. You can't beat us," Wang Qi said gravely.

"Surrender? Do you think I'm that kind of person?"

On Kong Shi's massive bear face, a sneer appeared: "Want my points? Come and take them! Berserk!"

His huge body swelled another full circle, his eyes blazing crimson, blood qi surging violently within him!!

Berserk!

A S-class enhancement technique derived from ferocious beasts.

Upon activation, physical strength reaches extreme potency, but sanity plunges into madness, easily causing friendly fire.

But there were no allies present—Kong Shi had no need to care.

"Why won't Ma Da's people surrender?"

Shaking his head, Wang Qi activated his own ability and charged forward first:

"Move in—finish him quickly."

Even one-on-one, Kong Shi couldn't beat Wang Qi, let alone with so many reinforcements.

Thus, merely three minutes later, Kong Shi was defeated.

"Safety shield activated. You have been eliminated.

Remain within the safety shield. Official rescue team will return you to the gymnasium shortly."

The alert tone from his smart band rang out; the crimson glow in Kong Shi's eyes faded as he was enclosed in energy shielding.

As waves of weakness surged through his body, Kong Shi sighed.

Two-university alliance... Captain, this time it's up to you...

On the other side, Han Shan, having delivered the final blow and eliminated Kong Shi, gained half of Kong Shi's points.

Third place, Han Shan, 11234 points (Jincheng Institute of Psychic Abilities)

Han Shan's score instantly surged by five thousand points; Kong Shi's ranking plummeted to sixth.

"Over ten thousand points—good, good," Han Shan nodded in satisfaction.

With Jingda and Jindag cooperating, the points couldn't all be hoarded by Jingda.

Jindag had to receive its share, which was why Han Shan had accumulated such a high score.

"But compared to that Xu Jingming guy, the gap is still enormous..."

Zou Taizhi stared helplessly at the survival contest ranking projected by his smart band:

'First place, Xu Jingming, 21332 points (Mudu Institute of Psychic Abilities)'

Second place, Wang Qi, 13210 points (Qingjing Psychic University)

Third place, Han Shan, 11234 points (Jincheng Psychic University)

......】

"Twenty thousand points—truly terrifying. Since the competition began, he's only rested once, it seems."

Wang Qi also felt a pang of awe.

Xu Jingming's score had maintained a rapid upward trend, except for the day before yesterday, when it stalled for roughly eight hours.

"Like I always say, all these points are just working for us."

Zou Taizhi chuckled, eager, and asked Wang Qi:

"Captain, should we keep searching for Xu Jingming?"

He still remembered that punch from the solo competition.

Now that he had a chance to return it, he was naturally impatient.

"No need to rush. There are still fifty-four minutes until nine."

When the map and location data are released, how could we fail to find Xu Jingming?

Rest here for now, recover your psychic energy, and at nine, immediately go find Xu Jingming."

Wang Qi, glancing at the time on his smart bracelet, gave the order.

Even a lion hunting a rabbit uses full strength. Though we've already secured victory, it's best to stay cautious.

Pfft~~

A sharp, dark-gold spear was withdrawn from the skull of a massive gray bear.

Blood gushed out, red and white splattering everywhere.

This was a White-Ringed Gray Bear; from its size, it was roughly high-tier fourth-rank.

Yet it was crushed and killed instantly, the spear piercing its skull.

Xu Jingming, the one who delivered the blow, stared at the leaderboard projected by his smart bracelet.

"Professor Kong's points halved, his rank dropped—only I and Senior Gu remain from Magic University..."

Xu Jingming narrowed his eyes.

Unlike the spectators in the gymnasium, he had no god's-eye view.

Yet Magic University had lost so many competitors, while Jing University and Jin University still had over ten survivors each!

Every time a Magic University contestant was eliminated, Wang Qi's or Han Shan's points surged sharply.

Even a fool could see Jing University and Jin University were united in slaughtering Magic University.

"If this had been earlier, I truly couldn't have beaten you."

But unfortunately for you, your luck ran out—you didn't find me in the past few days."

Now, you've lost your final chance..."

Xu Jingming's lips curled slightly, "Deep Blue!"

Today was the seventh day of the survival competition; over the previous six days,

Xu Jingming had rested only once, spending all other time day and night hunting ferocious beasts!

He had slain over seven or eight hundred third- and fourth-rank ferocious beasts combined!

Just now, by killing this high-tier fourth-rank White-Ringed Gray Bear, he gained 312 psychic points.

His accumulated psychic points reached over 51,000!

And on the system panel, a point-adding symbol finally appeared after his rank.

"Finally! Deep Blue! Allocate points!"

With a flick of his will, Xu Jingming slammed the plus sign after his rank.
