Chapter 994: Full-Floor Announcement! Allen's Breakthrough!

"Besides the surge in attributes, my ability should have changed quite a bit as well."

After finishing checking his attributes, Xu Jingming raised his right hand.

At a thought, the pitch-black SSS-rank Chaos Divine Thunder suddenly condensed, controlled in his palm to form a basketball-sized ball of lightning.

Crackle-crackle—

The entire surface of the lightning ball flickered with arcs, like a black hole, radiating terrifying energy fluctuations.

"The might of Chaos Divine Thunder has surged more than tenfold compared to before!" Xu Jingming nodded in satisfaction.

Just this one small lightning ball, if thrown out, would be enough to directly destroy a small city!

This is the power of an SSS-rank ability!

As its rank rises, its might will only grow more terrifying.

"Congratulations on successfully breaking through to the ninth rank from S-rank — one step closer to reaching the peak!"

At that moment, the holographic projection loli Eva poked her head out of the smart armguard and offered her congratulations with a grin.

Su Qingli likewise descended from the sky, a bright smile on her fair, pretty face:

"Congratulations. With both Wu Sheng and Arcane Saint layered together, from now on even I have to call you senior."

Women in love are all the same — even Su Qingli, with her cool and aloof temperament, could have such a playful side.

"Jingming, congratulations."

The sisters Leng Yuexi and Leng Yuechan, who had walked over from the side, also offered their congratulations.

A ninth-rank Wu Sheng under twenty years old — this was absolutely an unprecedented record, and probably one that would never be matched again.

"There's no chance now. Once we get back, I'll treat you all to a meal."

Xu Jingming laughed heartily, in quite a good mood.

"Great, then I'll have to ruthlessly fleece you along with Sister Shuang and the others."

Su Qingli blinked her clear, big eyes, then asked, "Where do we go next? Keep hunting fierce beasts?"

"No, let's head to the finish point," Xu Jingming shook his head.

With his current strength, even if he couldn't beat those few peak ninth-rankers, he wouldn't be in mortal danger.

"The Trial Tower will close in one day. A no-combat zone will be activated at the finish point. All trial-takers, please proceed to the finish point to exchange your rewards."

"The Trial Tower will close in one day. A no-combat zone will be activated at the finish point..."

Suddenly, a grand voice rang out from the sky.

It was still a prophecy that did not belong to Blue Star or the Spark World, but the spiritual fluctuation it carried let everyone understand it.

"It's finally ending — perfect, I still have quite a few Void Stones on hand, I can exchange them all at once!"

Xu Jingming laughed heartily, and without relying on his Thunder Dragon Wings, he took flight directly!

This was the ability of a ninth-rank ability-user — walking through the air!

Whoosh—

The spatial ring's light flickered slightly, and a massive Obsidian-grade fighter jet instantly appeared out of thin air beside him.

"Get on. We don't have to worry about Rio and the others intercepting us anymore."

After Su Qingli and the other two boarded the fighter jet, Xu Jingming had Eva pilot it toward the finish point.

Meanwhile, somewhere on the 13th floor of the Void-Breaking Tower.

The entire sky was covered in scorching, golden, high-temperature flames.

Beneath that sea of fire hung a golden sun!

Within the sun, a faint human figure could be seen, radiating an astonishingly terrifying aura!

This figure was devouring the origin energy in the air, and the aura it emitted kept surging upward!

Not far away, Rio, who was at peak ninth rank.

And several other ninth-rankers from the Lei Ding family were all hovering there, their gazes fixed tightly on that figure.

On the ground were Qiao Lin, Lady Xina, and others.

Everyone's face wore an expression of anticipation!

Because the figure within that golden sun was none other than Allen, who possessed the SSS-rank Elemental Fire ability!

At this moment, he was about to break through to ninth rank!

"Ninth-rank Arcane Saint! Boss Allen is definitely the strongest lower ninth-rank!"

"Of course! SSS-rank abilities are no joke!"

"Boss Allen was already stronger than that so-called Xu Jingming to begin with. Now that he's broken through to ninth rank, Xu Jingming can't even come close!"

"Nonsense! Xu Jingming only just broke through to mid eighth-rank — what has he got to compare with our boss?"

"..."

Allen's followers were all chattering excitedly.

Especially Qiao Lin and the others, who had been taught a lesson by Xu Jingming, their faces flushed with agitation.

They were looking forward to Allen venting their spite for them after his breakthrough!

"Look! The boss has successfully broken through!"

Suddenly, one of the followers' eyes lit up, and he pointed at the sky and shouted excitedly.

Qiao Lin and the others looked over, and indeed saw Allen, above the golden sea of fire, walking out from within it as if he were a god of flames, treading upon the flames.

That terrifyingly extreme aura consequently surged outward with a thunderous roar!

"Breaking through to ninth rank at twenty-eight! Allen! You truly are the number one prodigy of our Spark World!"

Rio, who was at peak ninth rank, laughed heartily and went up to meet him.

One day earlier, Allen had sensed he was about to break through.

That was why he had given up on reaching the finish line earlier, to stand guard here.

And the final result did not disappoint him—Ailen had truly broken through to the ninth tier!

"Too bad the Sacred Origin Pill was taken by that fellow Xu Jingming; otherwise, your breakthrough to the ninth tier would have been even faster."

Leo gave a cold, dissatisfied snort, then immediately broke into a smile:

"The facts prove that, even though you both have SSS-rank abilities, you broke through faster than Xu Jingming! That woman Aimsith made the wrong choice!"

"Xu Jingming?"

A look of faint disinterest drifted across Ailen's face. "When I was at the eighth tier, I still had a bit of interest in him.

But now that I've broken through to the ninth tier, seeking him out for a fight would just be bullying a child."

What he possessed was the elemental fire-type SSS-rank ability 'Solar True Fire'!

Now that he had broken through to the ninth tier, his spiritual power had reached a terrifying 600,000 hertz!

If he unleashed his ability at full power, Solar True Fire could reach an astonishing four million degrees Celsius!

For Xu Jingming, an eighth-tier Zhongweida Sect master, it really was a bit too much bullying.

"Fair enough."

Leo laughed heartily. "Your goal is to conquer every ninth-tier Wu Sheng and Arcane Saint! Xu Jingming will only ever live in your shadow!"

He certainly knew that Xu Jingming had on him a Sacred Origin Pill that could let one break through directly to the ninth tier.

But the other party had already broken through from the lower eighth tier to the Zhongweida Sect within the Void-Breaking Tower.

By the time he broke through again, it would be at least another year or two.

By then, the day would be long cold.

"My lord Leo, let's go then. I think I just heard the announcement that the Void-Breaking Tower is about to close."

Boundless golden flames surged, then all converged back into Ailen's body.

"That's right."

Leo nodded, a glimmer of anticipation surfacing in his eyes: "The Void-Breaking Tower is about to close. At the finish line later, we should be able to learn the secrets connected to that Noah civilization."

An unknown civilization never before discovered must hold tremendous value.

He had already sensed as much in the earlier floors of the Void-Breaking Tower.
