Chapter 212: Species Diversity

Emperor: "@Justice, it seems you know a lot about this."

Justice: "I've killed a few before."

Pope: "Impressive."

Judgment: "Can you guys stop derailing the conversation?"

Seeing the chat grow increasingly bizarre, Chu Yuan couldn't help but interrupt them.

Judgment: "@Tower, based on what I know about you, you shouldn't be someone who cares about this kind of thing. Is something the matter?"

In Chu Yuan's impression, the Witch Lan Qingyou possessed a carefree attitude that essentially boiled down to 'none of your business' and 'none of my business.'

It was safe to say that even though she was currently cooperating with the Supreme Council, her personality meant she simply didn't care about any of the Supreme Council's movements.

But since she was asking about it now, she definitely had her own underlying intentions.

Seeing Chu Yuan steer the conversation back to her original topic, Lan Qingyou looked at her Card and couldn't help but mutter a remark.

Then, she replied, "Mainly, since the isolation has been lifted, it should be a bit easier for your Supreme Council to find people now, right?"

Well then.

As a council member, how could Chu Yuan not know who Lan Qingyou was trying to find?

Judgment: "Those enemies you mentioned before, right? I know their names, but I don't know what they look like or what they did for a living previously. It makes them a bit hard to track down."

Tower: "No problem. I've already compiled a list of their names, appearances, and previous professions. You can have your people take their time looking."

Judgment: "No problem."

Despite Lan Qingyou being incredibly busy every day, she had never forgotten the enemies she needed to eliminate.

Now that the regional restrictions were gone, it was time to track those people down and settle the score.

However, there was no rush right now. She would let the Supreme Council help her find them first.

Once this dungeon instance was over, she would first head to the Golden Plains to settle the score with those two from the Huang family.

This was not Blue Star, and Lan Qingyou was no longer that powerless little girl who had been turned away at every door without a shred of ability to fight back.

"I'm really looking forward to it... How should I deal with them when we finally meet?"

Lan Qingyou never once considered whether she could defeat them or not.

It wasn't arrogance; it was simply that there were some people and some things you had to confront, regardless of whether you could win.

It was one thing back when she couldn't even walk, but now that she could soar through the skies, failing to make trouble for them would be doing a massive disservice to herself and her parents.

...

The next day, the Mana Turbulence subsided. Because she had gone to bed early the night before, Lan Qingyou woke up bright and early today.

After packaging and dividing the Potions made by her golems to keep for her own use, Lan Qingyou asked Chu Yuan for quite a few containers to store more Potions.

After all, no one could say for sure how long this dungeon expedition would take.

Based on Lan Qingyou's own limited experience, it would take at least three to five days.

She definitely wouldn't be able to promptly collect the three daily batches of Potions, so she needed to stockpile more containers for the golems to use.

Otherwise, they would have to halt production, which was the last thing Lan Qingyou wanted to see.

Halting production for a single day meant losing the profits from three entire batches of Potions. No one could stomach a loss like that.

After sorting out the affairs at the grand Alchemy Workshop, Lan Qingyou took out the Teleportation Array that Magician had sent her the day before.

This Teleportation Array was engraved on something resembling a sheet of plastic film. It looked incredibly cheap, which explained why it could only be used for a single round trip.

After taking it out, Lan Qingyou spread it flat inside the west tower's Alchemy Workshop, weighing down the four corners with Stones to prevent the array from shifting. She then brought the two little ones and her prepared items, flying to the center of the Teleportation Array to inject her mana.

This Teleportation Array was derived from magic array theory, so Lan Qingyou basically understood its operating principles after just a few glances of study.

In fact, after receiving this Teleportation Array last night, Lan Qingyou had already conducted a thorough analysis of it.

She had to admit, that Demon Race guy, Magician, really had a brilliant mind.

He utilized a method similar to mana displacement to accomplish the transfer of matter.

No wonder it could only be used once or twice.

After all, the energy of a single person was quite substantial, and factoring in the unique Magic Power of this world made the burden even greater.

Furthermore, the higher the level, the greater the mass.

Of course, this 'high' referred to their evolved state. Un-evolved Blue Star Earthlings, whose Magic Power was naturally low to begin with, were not included in this calculation.

The familiar sensation of weightlessness washed over her, much like the one-way Teleportation Array she had used in the Abandoned Ruins.

After a brief moment of disorientation, Lan Qingyou arrived at a new location.

This was a room built entirely out of bamboo. Aside from the familiar magic patterns and Magic Circuits, the walls were covered with various cured, dried fish, making the place look quite wealthy.

Lan Qingyou didn't linger. Sitting on her Magic Broom, she pushed the door open and flew right out.

How did the saying go again?

Facing the sea, with spring blossoms opening?

Although it wasn't exactly a scene of blooming spring flowers right now, facing the sea was undeniably true.

Especially since it was exactly the time of the morning sunrise.

A crimson sun leapt out from the water's surface, dyeing the clouds a vibrant tangerine. The crashing waves chased the morning light, shattering into specks of golden foil.

Flying monsters resembling seagulls skimmed across the shimmering water, the tips of their wings touched by the rising sun.

This quaint little scene was simply breathtaking.

"Yo, Tower, you're finally here."

Just as Lan Qingyou pulled out her Card, planning to snap a picture of this beautiful scenery so she could have Ruan Qingyi print it out as a room decoration later, a woman's voice drifted over from the side.

Lan Qingyou turned her head to look. Well then—two men and four women were sitting in a neat row on top of the bamboo house, each holding a bamboo pole, fishing while facing the morning sun.

The moment she saw these people, Lan Qingyou knew she was the last one to arrive.

But it made sense. A few of them had come over last night, and some had stayed up all night too.

If Lan Qingyou hadn't been busy, she probably wouldn't have been able to sit still and would have rushed over last night as well.

Because of their undisguisable avatars, Lan Qingyou recognized the six of them at a single glance.

The one who spoke was Priestess, wearing a long dress of white and blue.

And as she greeted Lan Qingyou, the rest of them turned to look over as well.

Lan Qingyou finally experienced the oppressive feeling of an entire group's collective gaze locking onto her alone.

Especially since it was this particular bunch.

"A vampire with long fangs, a Tree Elf with long ears, a Merfolk with scales, a Demon Race member with a healthy complexion, a Druid with natural face paint, and a Witch riding a broom... I'd say we've completely mastered the concept of species diversity."

Looking at this group, Lan Qingyou shrugged helplessly.

It was perhaps different from what many people imagined.

Although everyone developed a few traits characteristic of their own race after evolving to varying degrees.

But overall, they weren't fundamentally much different from their original Blue Star Earthling forms.

Even Nemo, who was a Merfolk, merely possessed a few faintly glowing scales near his temples.
