Chapter 158: Straight to First! Everyone Shocked!

"Hah…"

"Look quickly, another team's points have been cleared!"

"Where, where? Oh, oh, I see it, hiss, it's the fourth-ranked team…"

"What a pity, this is already the third team with cleared points, all the result of failing to challenge the Dark Elves. Are the Dark Elves really this strong?"

"It's fine, there's still a chance. There's still half a day left before the dungeon ends, they still have a chance to make a comeback. Look at Xu Meng's team, who previously slid to last place due to cleared points; they have now collected quite a few Natural Crystals again."

"Sigh, it's useless. Collecting again now is too late. Xu Meng's team has only just squeezed into the top hundred. Even if the dungeon ends, I estimate they'll only reach around sixtieth or seventieth place."

"Look at the leaderboard now. These students who didn't choose to challenge the Dark Elves really made a wise choice. Look at the first-ranked team now; they have collected a full fourteen Natural Crystals, far exceeding Li Mengying's team."

"…"

Outside.

The leaderboard underwent violent changes again.

Li Mengying's team, which was previously in first place, has already slid to ninth place.

Their points have remained stuck at ten.

And the teams ranked ahead of them have all collected more than ten Natural Crystals.

Obviously.

These teams made choices completely different from Li Mengying's team and Xu Meng's team.

They did not go to challenge and complete the Dark Elf rescue mission, but focused on the first mission to collect Natural Crystals… and their approach has received approval from many teachers.

Because after seeing Xu Meng's team fail the challenge, the teachers knew the Dark Elves could not be defeated just casually, so if one lacks sufficient confidence and strength, diligently collecting Natural Crystals… is the best choice for all candidate teams!

And after seeing teams have their points cleared three or four times in a row.

The teachers unanimously believed… that this time, no one would be able to complete the Dark Elf mission!

…

…

And during this period when Li Mengying's team's points showed no fluctuation.

A group of teachers from No. 2 Middle School were the most nervous.

"So much time has passed, we don't even know how Li Mengying and the others are doing…"

"I truly hope they are just resting… if they really went to challenge the Dark Elves… they really might not be able to win!"

"According to several students who just exited the dungeon at level ten after failing to challenge the Dark Elves, the Dark Elf is a level ten boss monster… and due to the erosion of Dark Power, its strength far exceeds others of the same rank and level, making it extremely powerful!"

"I feel that this year's college entrance examination trial seems not to be a battle for individual teams. Such a strong Dark Elf would require at least three to five candidate teams to fight together… could this be the question setter's intention? Wanting everyone to fight together?"

"Your idea has some merit, just like a college entrance exam a few years ago. I remember that was a group raid dungeon; from the very beginning, over a hundred candidates were gathered together to fight a regional boss."

"…"

And among the many teachers.

Cheng Hongyi was still silently praying.

He lowered his head, pressed his palms together, and recited various prayers, occasionally looking up at the leaderboard. Finding no change in Li Mengying's team, he sighed with relief, but immediately felt as if a heavy burden had been lifted.

"Hah."

After checking several times.

Cheng Hongyi glanced.

Unintentionally looking at the very end of the list, the next moment, his expression froze slightly…
