Chapter 84: Catching a Greatsword with Bare Hands, Deciding Life and Death with Two Punches!

There is actually a fish that slipped through the net!

Zhou Chu never expected that this female Warrior could actually survive under Xiduo's god-tier skill!

What kind of god-tier Soul Profession is this?!

As an S-Grade Holy Radiance Warrior, Lan Ya originally had a passive skill in her talent called "Holy Radiance Blessing."

It allows her to resist a certain amount of damage and shake off all negative effects when receiving a fatal attack.

It is precisely because of the protection of Holy Radiance Blessing that Lan Ya became the only survivor among the five.

However, because the damage from Xiduo's Cold Chain Impact was too high, although Lan Ya was not killed in one hit, she was left with only a sliver of health.

Only a pathetic 5 points of Blood Qi remained.

But she felt that it would be absolutely no problem to finish off Zhou Chu, who had no equipment on his body, with one sword strike.

In Lan Ya's view, they must have been ambushed by another candidate squad, and Zhou Chu was a member of this squad.

Although she did not know how they had instantly turned into ice sculptures, it was clear that there was a powerful candidate in this squad who excelled in ice-type abilities.

And it was also a girl, whose strength was not below the five of them, and perhaps even stronger.

Otherwise, her full set of Epic-grade equipment would not have been rendered useless.

Zhou Chu was greatly alarmed; there was no way to dodge at this moment, so he could only subconsciously raise his arms to block the greatsword Lan Ya was swinging at him.

With a loud bang, the greatsword struck Zhou Chu's arms heavily, instantly stirring up a ripple.

Lan Ya felt as if her sword had struck a steel plate, and the shock immediately made the web between her thumb and index finger go numb.

"What?"

Seeing that Zhou Chu had actually caught her sword with his bare hands and remained unscathed, Lan Ya was so shocked that her eyes widened instantly, her face full of astonishment.

"Huh?"

Zhou Chu was also equally astonished.

If this big thing in Lan Ya's hand had landed a hit, he would have been crippled if not killed.

Zhou Chu looked down at his arms and saw a faint light flowing over them, and he suddenly realized.

Just kidding, the 50-plus layers of Soul Shield were no joke.

He was like someone possessing a Golden Bell Shield and Iron Cloth Shirt; he could be called invulnerable.

Even if he stood there and let the opponent hack at him, she could not kill him.

Courtesy demands reciprocity.

Since you hacked me once, I must return the favor; I cannot let you hack me for nothing!

The corners of Zhou Chu's mouth curled up slightly; he clenched his right hand into a fist and countered with a Black Tiger Steals the Heart against Lan Ya.

While Lan Ya was still stunned, this punch hit her chest.

However, under the protection of her full set of Epic-grade equipment, this punch did not seem to cause her any damage, only forcing her to take two steps back due to inertia.

This punch from Zhou Chu only knocked off 2 points of her Blood Qi.

The equipment on this woman is tough enough; I've been stacking Attack Power for so long, and it's almost at three hundred, yet it only knocked off 2 points of her Blood Qi!

Zhou Chu grinned and couldn't help but shake his head and smile bitterly.

It seems this Attack Power isn't stacked enough; I still need to put in more effort.

Zhou Chu pondered to himself.

Although Lan Ya only had 3 points of health left, with that fine Epic-grade equipment protecting her, it was not that easy to finish her off with one punch.

After Lan Ya steadied her figure, her eyes were even more astonished.

She never expected that her all-out strike would be like a mayfly trying to shake a tree against the opponent, having no effect at all.

She was certain that the candidate before her must have a powerful defensive skill.

Daring to catch my sword with bare hands—this time I will definitely be able to kill you!

Lan Ya decided to stake everything on one throw!

Even if she died, she would not let Zhou Chu go.

"Holy Radiance Judgment!" Lan Ya shouted loudly, swinging the greatsword in her hand violently and hacking down at Zhou Chu.

The light gradually gathered on the greatsword, making it look even more imposing, as if it were about to split everything in front of it in two.

With a loud "Boom," Lan Ya's greatsword collided heavily with Zhou Chu's Soul Shield once again.

The powerful impact instantly spread to the surroundings, and the nearby trees were shaken until they swayed.

This sword strike was truly powerful and heavy; Zhou Chu's feet had been buried into the soil.

But what made Lan Ya despair was that Zhou Chu had once again caught her sword with both hands, remaining unscathed.

"How is this possible?" Lan Ya's eyes were wide open, and she couldn't help but mutter to herself, her face full of disbelief.

"Are you done? Then it's my turn."

Zhou Chu smiled very brightly; he shook his wrists a few times, gathered all his strength, and slammed another punch into Lan Ya's body.

This hit directly changed Lan Ya's Blood Qi from 3 points to 0.

Lan Ya then let out a breath of stale air, and her body fell softly to the ground.

In just these few short seconds, Zhou Chu's attack had increased by a few more points, and it had now broken the 300 mark.

This punch finally saved his face.

Zhou Chu could be said to have performed a superb technique in public: catching a greatsword with bare hands and deciding life and death with two punches.

He picked up all the Assessment Crystals dropped by the five people and counted them; there were actually 100 in total.

As expected of the Xia genius squad that was highly anticipated, this strength was indeed no joke.

In just half an hour, they had killed 100 monsters.

And Zhou Chu, relying on his contract servants, had only killed about 200 monsters so far.

But earning 100 Assessment Crystals all at once is much faster than killing monsters.

Zhou Chu was so happy he couldn't close his mouth, and he put all the Assessment Crystals back into his space.

【Ding! Since your Assessment Crystals have reached 300, the Peak Secret Realm score leaderboard has been activated!】

By now, more than half the time for the entire assessment had passed; the activation of the leaderboard at this moment further indicated that there wasn't much time left for all the examinees.

Now, both the examinees inside the Secret Realm and the people outside the Secret Realm could see the current score rankings, and even the number of people currently surviving in the Secret Realm.

What surprised Zhou Chu was that because he was holding over 300 Assessment Crystals and topped the score leaderboard, his location on the entire Secret Realm map had turned a bright red.

At the same time, he also saw many small green dots gradually converging toward him from all directions of the Secret Realm.

The corners of Zhou Chu's mouth couldn't help but twitch.

He hadn't expected that by possessing the most Assessment Crystals, he would become the target of everyone in the entire assessment.

Now, no matter how hard other examinees worked to kill monsters, it was impossible for them to surpass Zhou Chu.

Therefore, if they wanted to obtain enough Assessment Crystals in these last ten-plus minutes, the fastest and most effective method was to kill Zhou Chu.

I have to say, this assessment mechanism is truly dark; in all the College Entrance Exams from ancient times to the present, there has never been a way to play like this!

This is clearly not leaving any way for others to survive!

"Since that's the case, then I can only fulfill your wishes!" Zhou Chu immediately let out a cold chuckle and began to continuously summon contract servants from the Contract Pool.

Then, according to the current distribution of examinees on the map, he arranged the deployment of his contract army accordingly.

At this time, there were only about 20 examinees left in the Secret Realm.

From this, it could be seen that the competition between examinees was also exceptionally intense.

With these A-Grade and B-Grade contract servants, it was absolutely no problem to block the examinee teams on the outskirts of the forest.

But just as Zhou Chu was arranging his troops, a familiar voice rang out not far away.

"Zhou Chu, I've finally caught you! The Assessment Crystals on you will all be mine!"
