The next morning.

After Qin Ze gets up, he first sends a message to Zhang Kai, asking him to organize the Qingfeng Holdings data and send it to him.

Then he washes up, gets dressed, and drives toward the hospital.

He promised Su Qingqing today that he would go to the hospital to deal with her uncle.

On the way, Qin Ze sends a message to Su Qingqing:

"I'll be there in a moment."

Su Qingqing replies instantly:

"Brother Qin, come quickly! My uncle and aunt are here, and they insist on introducing me to a suitor!"

Qin Ze frowns.

Introducing a suitor at this critical juncture?

Are they even human?

Twenty minutes later, Qin Ze's car stops in the hospital parking lot.

A woman's voice, sharp and piercing.

Qin Ze quickens his pace, turns the corner, and sees the scene in the hallway.

Su Qingqing is standing at the door of the ward, her expression very ugly.

Standing opposite her are a man and a woman, both looking to be in their forties.

The woman has permed hair, wearing a floral dress, with heavy makeup on her face.

These two must be Su Qingqing's uncle, Su Guoqiang, and aunt, Sun Lanhua.

"Uncle, Aunt, my mother is about to have surgery; can we talk about this after the surgery is over?"

"Qingqing."

Qin Ze nods and then looks at Su Guoqiang and Sun Lanhua.

"And these two are?" he asks.

Su Qingqing introduces them quickly:

"This is my uncle and my aunt."

"Uncle, Aunt, this is my boyfriend, Qin Ze."

"Boyfriend?" Su Guoqiang looks Qin Ze up and down, his eyes full of disdain.

"Qingqing, when did you get a boyfriend? How come I didn't know?"

Sun Lanhua also frowns:

"Qingqing, you child, why are you bringing just anyone to the hospital? Your mother is still in surgery!"

Su Qingqing says quickly:

"Uncle, Aunt, Qin Ze isn't just anyone, he's very good to me..."

"Good to you?"

Su Guoqiang sneers.

"What's the use of him being good to you? Can it be eaten as a meal? Can it cure your mother's illness?"

"Qingqing, your uncle here has used a lot of connections to set up this match for you! This Xiao Wang is a civil servant!"

"If you go on a date with him and get married, wouldn't it be easy for him to arrange a job for you? It's much better than you being out in society every day dealing with these messy people!"

Sun Lanhua also tries to persuade her from the side:

Qin Ze can see it now.

This so-called uncle clearly didn't come because of Su Qingqing's mother's illness; he came to play matchmaker, and it feels like he's forcing her to go.

He even suspects that this uncle has taken money from someone.

Qin Ze interrupts the two of them directly:

Su Guoqiang and Sun Lanhua are both stunned.

"Fifty thousand deposit?" Su Guoqiang's expression changes, "What deposit?"

"The hospital surgery deposit."

Qin Ze points toward the hospital payment window.

"For Qingqing's mother's surgery this time, there is still a fifty thousand yuan deposit owed to the hospital."

"Since you are Qingqing's uncle and aunt, and you have her best interests at heart, why don't you lend her that fifty thousand yuan?"

Su Qingqing is also stunned; she didn't expect Qin Ze to say this.

Su Guoqiang and Sun Lanhua look at each other, their expressions becoming very ugly.

Before Qin Ze can speak, Su Qingqing speaks up.

"Uncle, Aunt, Qin Ze is the one who paid for my mother's surgery this time!"
