Tuantuan woke up. As soon as she opened her eyes and didn't see Mommy, she was about to cry.

Yuanyuan kissed his sister and held Tuantuan's hand. "Go, find Mommy."

The two little ones climbed down from the very low bed. Fortunately, the floor was covered with very thick carpets.

Tuantuan let out an "aiya," and with her fair, tender little feet, she wobbled after her brother to find Mommy.

The two little ones pushed open the door of the master bedroom. Su Qianyue was still nestled in Pei Huaiye's arms, sleeping soundly.

The bed was too high, and they couldn't climb up.

Yuanyuan raised his little hand and slapped his father's face. "Stinky Daddy!"

Pei Huaiye opened his eyes and saw his son hitting him. He scooped up the two little cubs and put them on the bed.

Feeling their feet were ice-cold, he quickly got up to find socks.

Tuantuan and Yuanyuan nestled in Su Qianyue's arms to play. Both little ones hugged Mommy, turning their little bottoms toward Pei Huaiye.

Pei Huaiye smiled helplessly and kissed the three of them dotingly.

He got up to make breakfast.

After the meal, he went to the base.

"Regimental Commander Pei, please look at this."

Pei Huaiye opened the letter and looked at it, his brows furrowing. "When did this happen?"

"The letter arrived today; the time of death should have been last month. They kept it hidden over there and it was only discovered recently."

Pei Huaiye looked at the letter for a long time and arranged a series of things to be investigated.

Half a month later, Pei Huaiye returned home and told her the news of Su Qianqian's death. "They said she fought with Shen Xunbao, and both died."
