Chapter 19

The Evil Dragon raised both hands,

looked down,

and saw a deep wound on the outer side of his arm,

constantly oozing fresh blood.

The Evil Dragon looked up toward the castle,

through the human-shaped hole he had smashed in the wall,

and saw a youth holding a sword.

The cyan long sword in his hand

was clearly the very cause of the wound on his arm.

"Brat, you are looking for death!"

The Evil Dragon roared,

then forcefully pushed off with his feet,

leaping straight up,

using several footholds on the castle's exterior,

and quickly returned to that room from before!

However,

before he could even steady himself,

he saw a size-42 shoe sole rapidly enlarge before his eyes!

Immediately after,

as a sharp pain surged across his face,

his entire body was instantly blasted backward,

and he was once again knocked off the castle with a boom!

This time, however, he did not land in the water,

but fell into the plaza below the castle, kicking up clouds of dust.

Li Xiao rubbed Nami's hair and said softly:

"Stay here and wait for me."

Having said that,

Li Xiao leaped down,

landing directly in front of the Evil Dragon.

At the same time,

the Evil Dragon had also stood up,

and around him were gathered many crew members of the Arlong Pirates,

all of them Fish-Men!

They held weapons and stared fiercely at Li Xiao,

looking as if they were ready to rush him at any moment!

And the Evil Dragon at this moment,

having been blasted off the castle twice in a row by Li Xiao,

had a great deal of dust mixed with seawater clinging to his body,

and his skin surface bore numerous scrapes, looking quite wretched!

But in reality,

given the powerful physique of Fish-Men,

apart from the sword wound on his arm,

the rest were merely superficial injuries!

It is worth mentioning that,

until this very moment,

that Devil Fruit was still tightly gripped in the Evil Dragon's hand,

and he had not dropped it even after being blasted away twice by Li Xiao.

Clearly,

even for the Evil Dragon,

this Devil Fruit was quite precious.

Li Xiao extended his left hand toward him and said:

"Hey, let's make a deal: you return the Devil Fruit to me, and later I'll cut you with two fewer sword strikes. How about that?"

Upon hearing this,

the Evil Dragon, who was already seething with anger, could no longer hold back,

and instantly flew into a rage!

He didn't even bother to utter any threats,

but directly drew his large saw-blade,

and slashed straight at Li Xiao!

Seeing this,

Li Xiao raised an eyebrow,

He held the Green Frost Sword horizontally before him,

easily blocking that blade strike.

And the Evil Dragon's combat experience was obviously quite rich,

seeing that blade strike blocked,

he raised his foot without hesitation and smashed it toward Li Xiao's side!

Li Xiao immediately stepped back a small step,

just barely dodging this attack!

At the same time, his right hand applied slight force,

pushing the Great Saw Blade aside,

and the Green Frost Sword also happened to carve a small wound on the Evil Dragon's hand back!

Although Li Xiao currently still does not clearly know what level his strength specifically occupies in the Pirate World,

dealing with a mere Evil Dragon,

is still a trivial matter!

Therefore,

in order to be able to judge his own strength more accurately,

Li Xiao did not strike with full power,

it could even be said he used only a small portion of his strength!

Even so,

it was enough to easily handle the Evil Dragon's attacks.

The Evil Dragon, holding the Great Saw Blade, continuously launched attacks at Li Xiao,

one blade strike after another,

with fierce momentum!

And Li Xiao countered each move as it came,

occasionally having to retreat a few steps,

seemingly in a disadvantageous position,

yet in reality, not even his hem was torn,

and his entire person maintained an appearance of calm and composure!

Occasionally launching a counterattack once,

would make the Evil Dragon struggle to cope, thrown into a panic!

And the merfolk of the Evil Dragon Pirate Team had long since scattered,
