Chapter 238: The Exposed Dragon's Hoof! (First Update)

However,

upon hearing Li Xiao's words,

Hancock immediately grew anxious,

and hurriedly asked:

"Are you leaving now?"

Seeing Hancock in such a state,

Li Xiao already understood what was on her mind,

and promptly ruffled her hair again,

smiling as he said:

"There's no rush to leave at the moment. If it's all right, I plan to rest here for a period of time!"

Among the rewards obtained from signing in on Amazon Lily, there were a full twenty One Yang Pills,

and Amazon Lily happened to be a rather excellent place to cultivate,

therefore,

Li Xiao planned to go into closed-door cultivation here for a while,

to consume and refine all twenty of those One Yang Pills!

If all went smoothly,

these twenty One Yang Pills would be enough to push him to the Peak Realm of Qi Refinement to Spirit Transformation!

Upon hearing this,

Hancock immediately said with a face full of joy:

"That's wonderful! Don't worry, I am the current Emperor of Amazon Lily. Everything here is decided by me. Stay as long as you like!"

"Oh right, um, to make up for the loss of your ingredients, how about I treat you to a meal?"

Looking at the expectant look on Hancock's face,

Li Xiao naturally agreed happily!

When it comes to an invitation to eat together,

what foodie could possibly refuse?

…………

Some time later,

inside the great hall of the city,

Li Xiao and Hancock sat facing each other.

At this moment,

Hancock had already changed into a loose-fitting dress,

looking a few parts less imposing,

and a few parts more languid!

On the table before the two of them was spread a great variety of food,

among which was no shortage of cooked Sea King-class creatures,

these dishes being the handiwork of that chef elder sister from earlier!

At this moment,

the entire great hall contained only Li Xiao and Hancock,

everyone else, including Hancock's two younger sisters,

had been cleared out of the great hall by Hancock!

Originally,

upon seeing this man Li Xiao,

the old woman named Gloriosa, the former-former-former Emperor of Amazon Lily,

had even come running over to furiously rebuke Hancock,

saying that she was violating the traditional rules of the Women's Country!

The result was that Hancock kicked her flying out the window with one foot,

and after it was done, even smoothed out her skirt,

giving Li Xiao a gentle smile,

and explained:

"Sorry, just a crazy old hag on the island. Got her head caught in a door a few years back. Don't mind her!"

…………

At the dining table,

Li Xiao picked up his chopsticks and took a piece of Sea King-class meat,

popped it into his mouth and chewed a few times,

and immediately couldn't help but have his eyes light up slightly!

It had to be said,

that chef elder sister's culinary skills were still quite something,

but they were rather limited,

so she couldn't handle those special Sky Island ingredients Li Xiao had brought!

And just as Li Xiao lowered his head to eat,

Sitting across from him, Hancock hadn't even touched her chopsticks.

She just propped her chin on her hand and stared at Li Xiao.

Li Xiao, who was absorbed in his meal, felt his hair stand on end from her gaze!

It felt as if—

Li Xiao had come here to eat,

while she had come to eat Li Xiao!
