Chapter 281

Luffy fought Blackbeard in a completely meaningless battle!

At this moment, Luffy,

although having defeated Crocodile,

saw his bounty skyrocket to one hundred million Berries,

yet his true strength was slightly unworthy of this bounty,

and he was still far from ranking in the Grand Line!

In contrast, Blackbeard,

although previously in the Whitebeard Pirates,

had always been a nobody,

with no presence whatsoever,

yet his strength was absolutely not to be underestimated!

After all, being able to leave a scar on Shanks the Red's eye

was already enough to prove his strength!

Moreover,

the current Blackbeard had also consumed the Logia-type Dark-Dark Fruit,

and in the current battle between Luffy and Blackbeard,

Luffy was almost suppressed from start to finish!

The Dark-Dark Fruit is an extremely special Devil Fruit,

and it has a certain suppressing effect on almost all Devil Fruit users!

As a Logia-type Devil Fruit,

although the Dark-Dark Fruit user cannot elementalize,

they can absorb damage!

In a sense,

it is no less than the elementalization of a normal Logia Fruit user!

More critically,

the Dark-Dark Fruit user can attract other Devil Fruit users from a distance,

and any user touched by his hand,

whether Zoan-type or Paramecia-type,

or even Logia-type,

will temporarily lose their Fruit abilities!

And Luffy is undoubtedly a close-range fighter,

so as soon as he attacks Blackbeard,

he will be easily caught by Blackbeard,

thereby temporarily losing his Fruit ability!

Therefore,

the battle between the two was almost a one-sided situation,

and Luffy had absolutely no power to fight back!

And in the battles of the other crew members,

the Straw Hat Pirates were not at all at an advantage,

and it could even be said that the situation in every small battlefield was precarious!

Blackbeard's crew,

although looking like misfits one and all,

must be said,

had strength that was respectable!

Except for Zoro and Robin, who could barely hold on with great difficulty,

the others were retreating step by step almost as soon as the battle began,

either being beaten,

or just being beaten!

If this continues,

the total defeat of the Straw Hat crew is only a matter of time!

Li Xiao's gaze swept around the battlefield,

searching for a certain figure,

and quickly locked onto the left side of the battlefield!

There,

Nami and Chao covered each other,

jointly fighting against a member of the Blackbeard Pirates!

The person wore a black top hat,

held a cane as a weapon in hand,

and was none other than the navigator of the Blackbeard Pirates,

the Zoan-type Bird-Bird Fruit-Pigeon Form user—Lafitte!

At this moment,

Chopper Has Already eaten the Blue Point,

transformed into his Beast-Man form to fight Lafitte,

while Nami held her Weather Stick and provided long-range support from behind!

With their coordination,

for a time, they were even holding their own against their opponent!

However,

this was merely an illusion caused by Lafitte not giving his full strength!

As Lafitte revealed his true power,

Nami and Chopper were instantly thrown on the defensive!

Chopper roared and swung a punch toward Lafitte,

Lafitte leapt lightly,

a pair of massive white wings unfurled from his back,

soaring directly into the air to evade Chopper's attack!

Seeing this,

Chopper's expression instantly changed!

Lafitte had already been overpowering them on the ground,

and now, with the advantage of aerial dominance,

their situation would surely become even more dangerous!

Sure enough,

since Lafitte used his Devil Fruit ability,

remaining airborne,

Chopper and Nami had no effective means of attack,

forced only to defend passively against Lafitte's assaults!

At this moment,

Lafitte drew out the slender sword from his cane,

launching a fierce assault upon Chopper below him at 2.8 meters!

Although Chopper desperately dodged,

Lafitte, airborne, was clearly far more agile,

and combined with Chopper's need to protect Nami behind him,
