Chapter 309: Enel Didn't Die? (Second Update)

Savoring the lingering fragrance between his teeth,

Li Xiao felt that all the rushing about of this past month and more had been worth it!

This was no longer merely a simple meal,

but a victory belonging solely to those who love to eat!

Since the ingredients Li Xiao provided were truly too many,

and the flavors of Sky Island cuisine were absolutely unparalleled!

Therefore,

after this meal,

not only did Li Xiao eat until satisfied,

but besides Conis and her father, these two Sky Island natives accustomed to such fare,

almost everyone in the Straw Hat Pirates had forcibly stuffed their bellies until they were round!

Among them, Luffy was the most outrageous,

his belly so swollen,

it was like a balloon filled to the brim!

That super-fast giant shrimp, comparable in size to a ship,

he had forcibly eaten an entire one by himself!

Leaving aside other things,

for those who love to eat, the Gomu Gomu no Mi is

simply a dream ability!

Mom no longer needs to worry about me not being able to finish my food!

Moments later,

Sanji and Conis's father cleared away the bowls and chopsticks,

while the rest of them curled up on the living room sofa,

listening to Conis tell stories about the Sky Island.

And Li Xiao was no exception;

he sat silently in a corner of the sofa,

lifting Nami onto his lap,

stroking the little thief cat in his arms,

while listening to Conis's narration.

As he listened,

Li Xiao's eyebrows involuntarily furrowed slightly!

According to what Conis said,

it had now been nearly two full months since Li Xiao slew Enel,

yet the residents of Angel Island had not sensed Enel's death in the slightest!

But the residents of Angel Island did not sense Enel's death at all!

a God still exists on the Sky Island today,

and one who likewise wields the power of lightning!

Anyone who shows disrespect to the God

will receive the God's punishment!

Hearing this,

Li Xiao could not help but recall again the words spoken by that old woman named Amazon when they passed through the Tianguozhi Sect,

Li Xiao could not help but recall again the words spoken by the old woman named Amazon when he passed through the Tianguozhi Sect,

the words spoken by that old woman named Amazon!

that Enel truly did not die?

Or perhaps...

Although Li Xiao was utterly convinced

that under his single sword strike,

Enel had already completely lost all signs of life!

Enel has already completely lost all signs of life!

in the Pirate World, the abilities of Devil Fruits are strange and varied,

and often, based on the user's own imagination,

they can develop all sorts of unexpected powers!

thereby developing various unexpected abilities!

the possibility that Enel did not die cannot be ruled out!

Thinking of this,

Li Xiao suddenly remembered something!

In the original story,

Enel was struck in the heart at close range by a Den Den Mushi,

and was directly blasted to death!

blasted him to death on the spot!

However,

he used the lightning stored in his heart to electrocute his heart,

thereby coming back to life!

Although in Li Xiao's view,

this possibility was slim!

After all, Li Xiao's sword strike had pierced straight through the heart,

and no human could survive that!

But given the current situation,

Li Xiao could not find any more reasonable explanation for the moment!

After pondering for a moment,

Li Xiao suddenly asked Conis:

"In the past month, has anyone on Angel Island been punished by the so-called God for disrespecting that deity?"

Upon hearing this,

Conis instinctively opened her mouth,

as if wanting to explain in detail,

but she was also somewhat afraid of that so-called God!

Therefore,

after looking around in a panic,

she merely nodded at Li Xiao.

Li Xiao pondered silently for a moment,

then picked up Nami from his arms and placed her on the nearby sofa,

stood up, leaped from the balcony,

and went straight to the empty beach opposite the balcony!

Immediately after,

Li Xiao glanced toward the forbidden land of Apaya,

and slowly said:

"The God of the Sky Island is an idiot!"

"The God of the Island is an idiot!"

"God is an idiot!"
