Chapter 1068: With mountains, water, and forests, Guilin's landscape is the best under heaven

Twenty thousand cavalry rushed on the road without stopping.

Several days passed in a row.

The speed of the cavalry was much faster than the infantry.

Nanhai Commandery and Guilin Commandery are separated by at least a thousand li.

But they only spent five days to arrive at Guilin Commandery.

There are many mountains and streams here; if it were not for the simple post roads and flat plains, they would not have been able to run fast.

In some places, there are no post roads, but mud land.

Fortunately, it did not rain; otherwise, this road would also have been very difficult to walk.

The scenery along the way was quite good.

There are mountains, water, and forests.

The scenery is beautiful and pleasant; it is a good place quite suitable for living.

With these beautiful sceneries along the way, the journey was not boring.

This beautiful scenery could not help but make Ying Ying Zi Ye think of a sentence from later generations.

Guilin's landscape is the best under heaven.

When they arrived at Guilin Commandery, they did not find the tracks of Ren Xiao and the others.

At the beginning, they thought they had gone to the wrong place.

After many inquiries, Zhao Tuo even entered the city to find the relevant person in charge.

Only then did they finally learn the whereabouts of Ren Xiao and the others.

It turned out that after Ren Xiao and the others arrived at Guilin Commandery, they did not stay in the Ducheng of Guilin Commandery for long.

They only took a lot of supplies in the city, and then headed west all the way.

Learned from the city guard army.

Ren Xiao took people into the mountain forest two days ago to catch fugitives.

Such a ridiculous excuse, yet there were still people who believed it.

Zhao Tuo was somewhat unable to complain.

Learned from the city guard army that to the west is a small piece of deep mountains and old forests.

Going further in is uninhabited wasteland.

Whether it is bushes or thorns, there are quite a few.

Ren Xiao actually took the main army into the mountain.

This wave of operations left General Meng Tian and the others somewhat confused. ===== CHAPTER 1070 =====
