Chapter 1726

The infected army appeared.

Looking at those ragged infected, they were like demons from hell.

The posture of their charge, their appearance covered in blood.

And that ferocious appearance.

One look showed they were guys full of attack power.

If anyone appeared in front of them, they would definitely be torn to shreds immediately.

The infected army charged continuously.

Food was right in front of them; if they ran slowly, they wouldn't be able to snatch it.

But they hadn't rushed in front of those people yet.

They all lost their footing and fell into the water channel.

Bursts of splash sounds also followed.

As long as the infected fell into the water, they would lose their ability to act.

There were quite a few infected, just fewer compared to last night.

Fortunately, these guys didn't have wisdom, otherwise, it wouldn't be so easy to deal with them.

"These infected are much fewer than last night."

"It's estimated that after tonight, there won't be many infected in the surroundings tomorrow, right?"

Han Xin looked at the water channel not far away, where those infected fell into the water one after another.

This didn't even need long spears to block; just let them free-fall.

Anyway, this water channel was widened and deepened today, so they didn't fear how many infected came.

The infected that crossed the water channel like last night shouldn't appear again.

Meng Tian nodded and smiled: "It's estimated that there are much fewer."

"We hunted quite a few infected when we went out today."

"The scale this time is smaller than last night."

Meng Tian also believed that these infected would only become fewer and fewer.

Otherwise, wouldn't they have been busy for nothing?

Ying Ying Zi Ye looked at those infected.

This was exactly the same as the zombies of later generations.

As long as there were living people in front of them, the infected would crazily hunt and kill.

"There should be more than just these infected."

"According to your reconnaissance today, there should be quite a few infected in the surroundings."

"It's just that they haven't all rushed over yet."

"Sound can attract them."

"We can try this method."

Ying Ying Zi Ye's words left Meng Tian and the others stunned.

Can sound also attract the attention of the infected?

They really hadn't experienced this point.

"Your Highness, can having people shout loudly attract them over?"

"How could we use shouting? Wouldn't shouting be tiring?"

"Having people shout isn't as good as using weapons to knock and create sound."

"How loud can weapon knocking be? Don't break the weapons."

"This won't work, that won't work; then what do you say we use to create sound?"

"You are all wrong; we should use war drums to attract them!"

The generals engaged in a fierce discussion.

In the end, they also discussed a method.

If one wanted the loudest sound, nothing was better than war drums.

As long as there were enough war drums, the sound would be shocking and long-lasting.

It could be heard clearly from more than ten li away.

"That's right, it's war drums."

"It just depends on whether you brought them and how many you brought."

Ying Ying Zi Ye's words also confirmed this point.

War drums were undoubtedly the most suitable.

It's just that he didn't know if they brought war drums when they came out this time.

He didn't pay attention to everything.

These things didn't fall under his management.

Meng Tian looked at one of the generals: "Did you bring war drums?"

This guy was in charge of logistics, and only he knew whether they were brought or not.

And this time it wasn't considered going to war, so Meng Tian didn't know if they were brought.

"They were brought, but not many."

"We came to exterminate the infected this time, not to fight against normal people."

This general's voice was a bit small; after all, fewer war drums were brought.

"How many?"

Meng Tian frowned; if it were too few, it wouldn't have any effect.

"Twenty war drums."

Meng Tian frowned upon hearing this: "That's a bit few."

"But it's better than nothing."

He knew that generally in war, war drums were indispensable.

Generally, there were dozens or hundreds of war drums.

After all, the sound of drums could make people's blood boil.

But this time, the number of war drums brought was truly a bit small.

"It's about enough; have people gather the war drums."

"Knock them together, and that sound can also attract a large pile of infected to come."

Ying Ying Zi Ye thought twenty war drums were not few.

After all, these war drums were louder than ordinary drums, and the quality was completely fine.

As long as the drums sound, the surrounding infected will definitely come in an endless stream.

He wanted to try last night, but last night was a bit hurried.

And the width of the defensive line was not enough.

Now, this width was definitely fine.

The sound of drums could attract quite a few infected.

Using this method now is also the best.

Only in this way could they clear out the infected in the surroundings.

This had great benefits for them in the later stages.

Not long after.

Twenty war drums were brought to the front of the defensive line one after another and set up.

All war drums were facing the direction of the city.

The personnel were also already prepared.

Just waiting for the order, and they could strike the war drums.

By then, who knew what would happen?

If the sound could really attract the infected.

Then once the drum sound rang out, there would be countless infected swarming over.

By then, it would be lively here.
