Chapter 321: Finding joy in the process, the importance lies in participation

"That's enough."

"Do you think I don't know the purpose of your coming here?"

Ying Zheng cast a glance at the crowd and said nothing more.

Ying Ying Zi Ye also looked at the group of officials.

He finally understood what they had come here for.

Congratulating him was a pretense; seeing the auspicious signs was the truth.

They were merely using the excuse of congratulating him on becoming Crown Prince to take the opportunity to see the auspicious signs.

"Since you are all here, let us witness the miracle together!"

Ying Ying Zi Ye did not mind; it wasn't as if it were something that couldn't be shown to others.

Curiosity was understandable, after all, none of them had seen it before.

The ministers were delighted upon hearing this.

"Thank you, Your Highness the Crown Prince!"

"Thank you, Your Highness the Crown Prince!"

"Thank you, Your Highness the Crown Prince!"

The ministers curiously crowded around.

Ying Zheng was even more eager, walking straight into the field.

He prepared to do it himself.

"Father Emperor, is there any need for you to do it yourself?"

The corner of Ying Ying Zi Ye's mouth twitched a few times.

"What do you know?"

"Finding joy in the process, the importance lies in participation!"

Ying Zheng ignored Ying Ying Zi Ye, picked up a farming tool, and began to dig carefully.

The soil loosened, and soon, the earth in the field was opened up.

The sweet potatoes buried in the soil appeared before Ying Zheng's eyes.

Under the sweet potato vines were four or five sweet potatoes, each the size of a fist!

Seeing this, Ying Zheng's heart trembled.

He didn't even care about the dirt on his hands anymore.

He was afraid the farming tool would damage the sweet potatoes.

He threw the tool aside and reached out with both hands to dig through the soil!

He looked rather comical in that state.

It was as if he were afraid of damaging the auspicious signs in the soil.

Soon, the soil around the sweet potatoes was cleared away.

The brightly colored sweet potatoes lay exposed before him.

Ying Zheng lifted the sweet potatoes and weighed them in his hands.

A single plant yielded nearly ten jin!

Ying Zheng looked at the sweet potatoes in his hands.

A sense of satisfaction welled up within him!

This was food that could fill one's stomach! ===== CHAPTER 323 =====
