Chapter 579

The number of warhorses obtained now was approaching one hundred thousand!

This was a massive quantity; it could equip one-third of the border defense army soldiers.

If His Highness hadn't come to Hetao, they wouldn't have obtained so many spoils of war.

All of this was thanks to His Highness.

Without His Highness, there would be none of these current spoils.

Now, hearing His Highness say he was returning, they all felt somewhat reluctant.

"There should be opportunities to come and stroll around again in the future."

Ying Ying Zi Ye smiled indifferently.

Afterward, he thought of those captured Xiongnu.

He was also returning to Xianyang, so it was time to deal with them.

Thus, he looked at General Meng Tian Tian and the others and said:

"General Meng Tian Tian, tomorrow, send people to escort all those captives back to Lishan."

"It is impossible to let them eat for free here; Great Qin cannot afford to support them."

"Let them go to labor; only after laboring will they have food to eat."

Ying Ying Zi Ye did not want to support this group of people for nothing.

Upon hearing this, General Meng Tian Tian nodded heavily; he had originally advocated for killing them all.

But His Highness said that Great Qin's four major projects needed people to build them.

Then they could only be sent to perform corvée labor.

Not killing them was the greatest mercy, and killing them would simply be letting them off too easily.

Letting them go to build projects for Great Qin was their best destination.

"Your Highness, how should the problem of the language barrier be handled?"

"After all, only Luo Huan knows the Xiongnu language; none of us do."

General Meng Tian Tian felt a headache; with the language barrier, communication had become a problem.

"This is not a big problem."

"Throughout the entire Great Qin and Xiongnu territories, there must be more than one person proficient in both languages."

"Find some people who can speak it, and for now, let that translator follow them to Lishan."

"Give him a small official position; let him manage that group of people. If they don't listen, discipline them until they do."

Ying Ying Zi Ye did not believe that among so many people, there wasn't anyone who could speak both languages.

Therefore, he was not very worried about this problem.

Nearly fifty thousand Xiongnu, although the number was somewhat small.

But as time goes on, it will definitely increase in the future.

Leaving General Meng Tian Tian and the others here was not for them to play around.

"Your task is to sweep through the Xiongnu."

"Don't they often come to plunder the people of Great Qin?"

"Go and snatch back their cattle, sheep, horses, and the like."

"In this way, let's see how they can continue to plunder the people of Great Qin."

"Great Qin is currently lacking people; capture them if you can, and fight them if you can't."

"Fight until they dare not come to invade Great Qin again!"

Ying Ying Zi Ye simply arranged the tasks that needed to be done next.

General Meng Tian Tian and the others looked at each other, unable to contain their excitement.

In the past, they had always guarded here and had never gone out to sweep through the enemy.

Previously, it was because there were not enough warhorses.

Now that there were enough warhorses, the Great Wall did not need to be built for the time being.

What about the three hundred thousand-strong army?

Naturally, they would go out into the great grasslands to sweep through them.

However, the grain and forage were not yet very sufficient.

As long as this winter passed, when Great Qin's grain could be harvested.

The three hundred thousand-strong army could be stationed directly in the great grasslands.

At that time, as long as the logistics and grain were not cut off, they could fight for a long time.

Expand the territory!

Plant the Black Xuan flag of Great Qin all over every piece of land!

This was what the Qin Ruishi should do.

Hiding inside the Great Wall all day was not the way.

Thinking of this, everyone present became excited.

Ying Ying Zi Ye looked at the excited appearance of this tiger-wolf army.

Perhaps only on the battlefield could they be more exhilarated.

"You all should take it easy; do not have any major actions for the time being."

"Just treat it as training; as long as your strength improves, there will be plenty of opportunities for battle in the future."

Ying Ying Zi Ye thought of the vast lands outside of Great Qin.

There were plenty of opportunities for battle.

Great Qin's number of warhorses was currently surging.

Cavalry with super-strong mobility also had many advantages in combat.

Everyone had another detailed discussion.

It was not until an hour later that they dispersed.

The next day.

General Meng Tian Tian sent people to drive all the Xiongnu out.

The Xiongnu did not know what had happened.

No one had informed them what they were going to do.

But they could only be forced to accept this matter.

Among them was Luo Huan.

The other Xiongnu all recognized this Great Qin expert.

They hurriedly asked Luo Huan what had happened.

Luo Huan was also somewhat confused.

This scene had left him dumbfounded.

Maoshi had just left, and they were already being moved to a new position?

"What are you doing?"

"Where are you taking us?"

Luo Huan had no choice but to ask a soldier nearby.

"Lishan!"

The soldier coldly spat out two words.

Boom~!

Hearing the word Lishan.

Luo Huan's brain exploded instantly.

As a Great Qin person.

He could not be more familiar with Lishan.

Luo Huan had originally committed a crime and was supposed to be taken to Lishan.

But he was clever, and he could speak the Xiongnu language.

Therefore, he escaped and fled to the Xiongnu territory.

Now, hearing the word Lishan again.

He felt terrible all over.
