Chapter 641: Mo Wine of the Mohist School, A Hundred Schools of Thought Contend

This young man is named Mo Wine.

It is rumored that he is a descendant of the Mohist School, but he has never admitted it.

As for how much of the Mohist School's skills Mo Wine has learned, no one knows.

There are also those who say Mo Wine is an illegitimate child of the Mohist School and cannot obtain much support from them.

With no other path to take, he could only set out alone to travel and study, eventually joining the Great Qin Academy.

But these are all rumors; as for their truth, no one has ever delved into them.

Ying Ying Zi Ye very keenly caught the name Mo Wine.

This piqued his interest.

Could that young man be a member of the Mohist School?

There are not many people with the surname Mo in Great Qin.

Perhaps there is a connection to the Mohist School after all.

If he is indeed a descendant of the Mohist School, then it is estimated that there is hope for this bicycle matter.

Otherwise, it will still have to be handed over to Gongshu Meng to handle.

The reason it is not being given to Gongshu Meng right now is because he wants to give the Great Qin Academy a chance.

Gongshu Meng alone is sometimes too busy to handle so many things.

It is best to handle matters separately.

If the Great Qin Academy does not have talent in this area, then there is nothing that can be done.

The opportunity has been given; whether they can grasp it depends on whether they have the drive.

"I imagine you are all very curious about who the dean I have pre-selected is."

"But you are too embarrassed to ask, so I shall tell you now."

"It is possible that there are those present who know her."

"After all, there are many people from the Hundred Schools of Thought among you."

Ying Ying Zi Ye smiled; saying it out loud was no harm, it was just to put some pressure on them.

Without pressure, where would the motivation come from?

The crowd looked at Ying Ying Zi Ye with anticipation.

They were truly curious: who had the ability to be favored by the Crown Prince?

And judging by the looks of it, their strength seemed to be quite formidable.

Watching the curious crowd, Ying Ying Zi Ye spoke slowly:

"The Gongshu family, Gongshu Meng."

When Ying Ying Zi Ye said this, he glanced inadvertently at Mo Wine.

Once the name was out, many people were in an uproar.

Mo Wine's expression also changed, but he quickly recovered, masking it quite well.

"So it was that girl from the Gongshu family."

"If it is her, it is not surprising; she has that kind of strength."

"Rumor has it that the Gongshu family's mechanical arts she has learned have reached a state of perfection."

"If no one here can manufacture the bicycle, then the position of dean will have to be given to that girl."

"With so many of us here, surely we don't need a girl to serve as the dean of the Academy of Sciences?"

"Exactly, with so many of us, we are no worse than a little girl."

"I believe someone here can definitely build this bicycle."

There were many people from the Hundred Schools of Thought present, and all had heard of Gongshu Meng's reputation.

Therefore, she was not a stranger to them, and some had even met her once.

Ying Ying Zi Ye looked at Mo Wine and smiled: "Are you a member of the Mohist School?"

Mo Wine nodded: "Yes."

"Very good. If you can manufacture this bicycle, you shall sit in the dean's chair."

"The power of the dean of the Academy of Sciences is immense. If you can attain this position, your Mohist School will surely prosper for a hundred years."

"If you cannot manufacture it, then it proves your Mohist School is inferior to the Gongshu family and deserves to disappear into the rolling wheels of history."

"It is rumored that the mechanical arts of your two families are evenly matched, and that you even once soundly defeated the Gongshu family's ancestor."

Ying Ying Zi Ye smiled; he was indeed a member of the Mohist School.

He wanted to see if the Mohist School had this kind of strength.

Upon hearing this, Mo Wine clenched his fists, though no one knew what he was thinking.

The remaining teachers and the various schools of thought, seeing that His Highness thought so highly of the Mo family, were all somewhat unconvinced in their hearts.

Their Vertical and Horizontal School, Yin-Yang School, Agricultural School, and others were not weak either.

They were simply not as proficient in mechanics as the Mohist School.

Everyone secretly made up their minds to put their full effort into their work.

They hoped to make a stunning impression; even if they couldn't achieve that, they had to catch the Prince's attention.

"If there is nothing else, you may withdraw and prepare."

"There is only one month of time; who the dean's position falls to depends on you."

"It is quite possible that this dean's position could actually fall into the hands of the Great Qin Academy."

Ying Ying Zi Ye stood up. ===== CHAPTER 643 =====
