Chapter 679: Every Time It's Like This, Don't Send Them Anymore

"General, the Commandant's Army says they have an imperial decree from His Highness."

"They need to see you to say it."

Deputy General Zhao rode his horse to Meng Tian's side.

He briefly explained what had just happened.

Upon hearing that an imperial decree from His Highness had arrived, Meng Tian

dismounted directly and walked forward a few steps.

He bowed slightly.

"I am Meng Tian; I wonder what imperial decree His Highness has brought."

Seeing General Meng Tian appear, the leader of the Commandant's Army

didn't talk nonsense and bowed while sitting on his horse.

"His Highness's imperial decree: The weapons and equipment transported this time include three-piece sets for warhorses, super divine crossbows, and horse-chopping sabers."

"There are sixty thousand sets of the three-piece sets for warhorses, and one thousand super divine crossbows."

"There are a total of thirty thousand horse-chopping sabers; twenty thousand are made of hundred-refined steel, and ten thousand are made of meteorite iron."

As soon as this news came out,

the people in the border defense camp exploded.

There were actually so many!

They knew that these weapons were not easy to forge.

Otherwise, there wouldn't have been only those ten thousand sets for Han Xin and the others.

The quantity sent this time directly exceeded the quantity held by Han Xin and the others.

How could this not make them excited?

Even though they couldn't have one for everyone now because there were many border defense soldiers,

if they continued to be manufactured in the future, everyone would definitely have one.

"Great, these weapons have finally arrived."

"I didn't expect so many to be transported at once."

"Everyone is envious of this batch of weapons!"

"Just looking at this quantity, it is a lot, but compared to the number of border defense soldiers, it is still too little."

"I don't know when we will be able to have one for everyone; it's really worrying."

"Not enough to go around; I don't know if we will have a share."

"Don't even think about it; this batch of weapons will only be used by the most elite people."

"And it is true that only the most elite people are qualified to use these weapons."

The soldiers of the border defense army whispered to each other.

This was definitely super big news.

These were the weapons they had been looking forward to for a long time.

Every time they saw the Commandant's Army using them, they were incomparably envious.

They wanted to touch them, but the other party wouldn't let them.

Now, their weapons had finally arrived!

Seeing that the generals had quieted down slightly,

the leader of the Commandant's Army continued to speak.

"His Highness's distribution is as follows."

Seeing that there was more to come, the soldiers all quieted down.

"Of the sixty thousand three-piece sets for warhorses, the Commandant's Army will take ten thousand."

"The one thousand super divine crossbows also belong to the Commandant's Army; combined, their power is great."

"The Commandant's Army will take ten thousand of the hundred-refined steel horse-chopping sabers."

"The rest all belong to the border defense army."

"These are the above imperial decrees from His Highness."

After the leader of the Commandant's Army finished speaking, everyone present was silent.

After Deputy General Zhao and the others heard this,

their brows immediately furrowed deeply. ===== CHAPTER 681 =====
