Chapter 825

In Xianyang City.

These two things, bicycles and delicacies, have once again topped the hot topics.

For a time, the whole Xianyang City was discussing both topics.

Many people have never eaten the delicacies made from sweet potatoes and potatoes.

Not to mention seeing them; they have only heard people say how delicious they are.

Therefore, the topic of delicacies is not very intense.

But this bicycle is different.

Most people in Xianyang City have seen it.

After all, over a hundred bicycles rode from the Dongmen to the West Gate.

And rode from the South Gate to the North Gate; most people in Xianyang City have seen bicycles.

That was over a hundred carts, such a huge quantity, many people saw it.

Therefore, this bicycle is also what they are discussing extremely intensely.

People entering the city from the Dongmen brought the news from outside the city.

After learning the purchasing method of this bicycle, they became even more restless.

It turned out that even with money, you couldn't buy it.

Only by participating in the Lishan construction project could you buy this bicycle.

The streets and alleys of Xianyang City were discussing bicycles.

Many people wanted to own a bicycle, regardless of gender.

"Why is the imperial court like this?"

"If I don't go to Lishan to participate in the construction, doesn't that mean I, a dignified noble, cannot own a bicycle?"

"Exactly, isn't this targeting us nobles? It's better not to have this bicycle."

"Anyway, it's not mandatory conscription; there is freedom to come and go, so let's not go to Lishan."

"Are you sick in the head to go? No matter how good-looking this bicycle is, it still needs human power to ride; how can it be better than us riding in a carriage?"

"Although it's not as strong as riding in a carriage, riding it is handsome."
