Chapter 268: Once again no clues, Fusu's request, darkness sweeps in

Inside the Imperial Palace of Xianyang City.

Ever since Zhang Han received his punishment, he had been lying in bed all day.

Ying Zheng could only hand the matter of finding the one hundred thousand taels of disaster relief silver to Ge Nie.

But Ge Nie investigated all the forests, yet discovered that there was simply no trace at all.

In the forest.

Ge Nie carefully observed the traces inside.

In the front section, there were deep rut marks from the wheels.

Clearly, this was the trace left by someone pushing a carriage through here.

And the rut marks were very deep; clearly, there was something very heavy inside the carriage.

"Only if the carriage were filled with silver would it leave such clear traces."

Ge Nie searched forward along the traces, and the traces suddenly disappeared at one location.

Ge Nie surveyed the surrounding environment. ===== CHAPTER 270 =====
