Chapter 583

Watching Zhang Han could also see the contribution Wang Jian had made in military affairs.

He also hoped that an old general who had put so much effort into the entire country could have a good ending.

Fusu, who was beside him, saw this series of operations and words from Wang Jian and had long since softened his heart.

Seeing that Watching Zhang Han also stood out to plead for Wang Jian,

Fusu also came before Ying Zheng and said to Ying Zheng with his head lowered.

"Father, ever since you unified the six states, the whole world has been saying you are cruel."

"But Father has never killed an innocent person because of this."

"The old General Wang has been loyal to the monarch and patriotic his whole life; although such a thing happened, the old General Wang is ultimately innocent."

"I ask Father to look at previous matters and spare the old General Wang, sparing his life."

Fusu said sincerely with his head lowered.

Seeing that the Imperial Prince and Watching Zhang Han were both pleading for him.

A dazed expression appeared on Wang Jian's face.

After all, his relationship with both sides had not been good before.

He just did not expect that at such a critical moment, the ones pleading for him would be these two.

"Many thanks to General Watching Zhang Han and Imperial Prince Fusu."

"The two of you do not need to plead for me; I would rather die, for it is ultimately my Wang family that did wrong."

A faint smile appeared on Wang Jian's face.

Only if he died would this matter not implicate the Wang family clan far away in their ancestral land.
