Chapter 352

Long before Ying Su first told him he was preparing to annihilate the Xiongnu, he had already dispatched this thousand men!

He ordered these thousand men to lie in ambush on the snow mountain!

This matter was top secret; not even Wang Jian and the others knew, and even Ying Su was unaware!

Only Han Xin knew of this!

And now that Han Xin had told Wang Jian all of this, Wang Jian's mouth hung wide open; at this very moment, he could not help but gape!

He did not know what to say!

He could only utter the two words Ying Su often kept on his lips!

"Awesome!"

This was truly awesome!

You must know, back then, Ying Su was merely saying it; whether they would actually attack remained unknown!

But... Han Xin had already begun making arrangements back then!

With such planning and deployment, it was hard for Wang Jian not to be convinced!

"Then... what should be done if the snowballs and stones on the mountain are exhausted?"

"Should the soldiers charge up?"

At this very moment, looking at the countless people on the mountain, Fan Kuai felt a bit dizzy!

Over three million people!

This was over three million people!

Before so many people, a hundred thousand were as insignificant as ants; they simply did not know how to fight!

However, Han Xin smiled: "The snowballs and stones run out?"

"Can they possibly run out?"

"Huh?"

The moment the words left his mouth, Fan Kuai was stunned!

"How could they possibly run out?"

Han Xin smiled but said nothing!

He recalled the mission he had assigned to these thousand men!

After arriving at the snow mountain, do nothing!

Do only three things!

Dig snow caves, roll snowballs, and move stones!

So, after this thousand men arrived at the snow mountain early, they did one thing all day long: move stones and transport snowballs!

How many must be moved before it is finished?

Unknown!

Anyway, a few days ago, when he had sent Li Yuanba to escort the Eighteen Riders of Yan Yun to ambush them at night and block their advance, he had gone up to investigate!

Li Yuanba reported that they had dug three hundred large caves on the snow mountain; besides those for their residence, the rest were filled entirely with snowballs!

Exactly how many snowballs were inside, Han Xin did not know!

How long until they were exhausted, Han Xin likewise did not know!

But judging by the scale now, it was probably only a tiny fraction of the total!

After all, those were snowballs rolled by a thousand men over half a year!

Even if they were the laziest people imaginable, rolling just one snowball per person per day, that was still a thousand men rolling for half a year!

One hundred and eighty thousand snowballs!

Judging by the amount rolling down now, it was not even two thousand!

Far from it, truly far from it!

So, Han Xin was truly not the slightest bit worried that the snowballs on the mountain would run out!

But... he had no patience to waste three or five days here!

It was not that he was anxious, but Chanyu Modu Chanyu Chanyu Modu and Fan Zeng would not give him much time!

Three or five days; if they could not fight, could they not run?

Millions of people scattering in all directions; how could his hundred thousand pursue them?

Especially pursuing them on a snow mountain; it was unrealistic, truly unrealistic!

So, to annihilate them completely, they must take the initiative!

At that moment, he waved the command flag in his hand!

In the blink of an eye, the great army began to advance!

After reaching a suitable position, rows of heavy crossbows were immediately set up!

Then came the bows!

Cannons?

Impossible to use!

Besides the cannonballs being exhausted, there was also the most important factor: the avalanche!

Remember, this was a snow mountain!

Once an avalanche occurred, it would be mutual destruction!

Even Han Xin's hundred thousand men would not survive!

Accompanying the waving of the command flag, instantly, the heavy crossbows and bows all began to fire!

And on both sides, Li Cunxiao and Li Yuanba, each leading twenty thousand men, stood on either side to block their retreat!

The rest, leave to the great army for slaughter!

And under such encirclement from above, below, left, and right, with slaughter on all sides, the Xiongnu were dying at a terrifying speed!

The fierce battle had lasted less than a day, and the Xiongnu death toll had already reached five hundred thousand!

Another night passed, and the Xiongnu death toll increased by another five hundred thousand!

There is no way around it!

After all... this is a snow mountain!

The surroundings are bare, with not even a single shelter!

The only way for everyone to hide is to dig snow caves, to use snow to create a trench!

However, digging snow caves can only block arrows; can they block snowballs rolling down from above?

They cannot!

Moreover, even the trenches they dug with great hardship would collapse at once once snowballs and stones rolled down!

They cannot block it!

They really cannot block it!

At this moment, many Xiongnu fell into despair!

And on the other side!

Along the distant coastline of the Southern Sea of Great Qin, fleets of ships were advancing!

At that moment, many people glanced toward the distant land and could not help but shout in excitement!

"Qin State!"

"Qin State!"

"We've arrived!"

"We're back!"

"We're back, Shao!"

156. The New Emperor Far Surpasses the First Emperor! Boiling!

Southern Sea!

Along the coastline, at that moment, many people were shouting!

They were excited to the extreme!

Even Zheng He was equally excited!

One year!

Counting the time, he has been away for nearly a year!
