Chapter 753

Upon learning that Su Xuan's true purpose was to stop Did Chi You, even though he was horrified by Did Chi You's power, the Six-Fingered Black Hero immediately mobilized the Mohist disciples, preparing to assist Su Xuan with all their might.

When it comes to saving the world, the Mohist School is duty-bound!

No matter how formidable the former Master of War, Did Chi You, once was, it is no longer his era; now that he has reappeared in the human world, he shall not be allowed to bring disaster upon the common people.

The specific location of the ancient Loulan Kingdom will be determined by the people of the Shushan tribe.

This time, Su Xuan intends to use the strength of the Mohist School to build vehicles capable of traveling across the desert.

Whether according to the records of the Shushan tribe or the records in the theatrical version, the ancient Loulan Kingdom undoubtedly exists deep within the desert.

Traveling through the desert is naturally not a problem for Su Xuan.

Even if he neither ate nor drank, he could walk across the desert as if it were flat ground, but for others, it is not so easy.

Camels could serve as vehicles, but thinking of the sand ships built by the Gongshu family in the theatrical version, Su Xuan feels there could be a better choice.

If the Mohist School cannot accomplish this, he would not mind seeking help from the Gongshu family.

Upon hearing Su Xuan's request, the Six-Fingered Black Hero was slightly taken aback.

"Vehicles that can travel in the desert? I can give it a try!"

Su Xuan's request surprised the Six-Fingered Black Hero somewhat, but it was indeed a good direction to attempt, as the Mohist School had never built similar mechanical beasts before.

The Mohist School has four great mechanical beasts: the Azure Dragon and Zhu Que can fly in the sky, the White Tiger traverses the earth, and the Black Tortoise gallops across the vast oceans.

But none of these mechanical beasts can travel in the desert.

However, this does not stump the Six-Fingered Black Hero.

In any case, the desert is still land, and walking on land is ultimately simpler than manufacturing mechanical beasts that fly in the sky or swim in the water. If they truly cannot be built, preparing a few Zhu Que mechanical birds is the same; the Zhu Que can fly and carry people, and it would be even better to travel directly through the sky, and even better for surveying the terrain due to the high vantage point.

After confirming Su Xuan's request, the Six-Fingered Black Hero began to contact Master Ban to research it, while simultaneously calling upon some Mohist disciples to head to Longxi Commandery in advance to prepare.

The Western Regions where Loulan is located are near the Qin Guo's Longxi and Beidi Commanderies. Beyond these two commanderies lie the grazing lands of the Yuezhi, which is the famous Hexi Corridor. At present, the Hexi Corridor is still a vast oasis with rich soil and water.

If history were to follow its normal development, in the future, Meng Tian would lead troops to occupy the Hexi Corridor. Later, at the end of the Qin Dynasty, the world would fall into chaos, and the Yuezhi would return to reclaim the Hexi Corridor. By the time of the Han Dynasty, the Yuezhi would be defeated by the Xiongnu, and this place would fall into the hands of the Xiongnu once again. Consequently, the entire Western Regions would become a thorn in the side of the Central Plains until the Xiongnu were driven away, and this place returned to the hands of the Central Plains.

The ancient Loulan Kingdom was a small state located in the Hexi Corridor, part of the future Silk Road; in history, it even became the eyes and ears of the Xiongnu for a time.

Of course, that is the Loulan Kingdom of history.

Whether the Loulan Kingdom in this world is that same ancient kingdom, no one can say for sure.

The Six-Fingered Black Hero gathered the Mohist people to arrive early in the commandery near the Hexi Corridor in the Qin Guo, while simultaneously contacting the officials there to prepare the corresponding materials. Because the mechanical beasts are massive in size, it is clearly impossible to transport them over long distances, so they gathered materials on the spot, preparing to manufacture and assemble the mechanical beasts locally.

Of course, that is on the condition that the Six-Fingered Black Hero can produce the blueprints.

After discussing with Su Xuan, the Six-Fingered Black Hero left the Yin-Yang School to draw the blueprints.

After Su Xuan arranged for the people of the Yin-Yang School, Meng Tian and the three thousand Golden Fire Cavalry were also ready. After all, Loulan is but a small state, and three thousand troops are more than enough.

After the army was ready, Su Xuan also led the people of the Shushan tribe to join Meng Tian's army, heading toward Longxi Commandery.

The location of Xianyang is known as "Neishi Commandery" among the thirty-six commanderies, situated in the central region of Neishi Commandery. Above Neishi Commandery, that is, in the due north direction, is Beidi Commandery, and to the left, that is, in the northwest direction, is Longxi Commandery.

It can be said that the location of the Qin capital is actually not far from the Western Regions.

This is also the reason why the people of the Shushan tribe agreed to let Su Xuan return to Xianyang first, because traveling from Shu Commandery to Longxi also requires passing through Hanzhong, and then arriving at Longxi from Hanzhong.

Although they traveled a bit further this time, they gained the full support of the Qin Guo.

Looking at the three thousand Golden Fire Cavalry commanded by Meng Tian, Yu Jun, who was mingling among the troops, could not help but sigh; these are elite soldiers.

He does not even know that in the original work, it was Meng Tian who commanded these elites, along with the Yin-Yang School, to exterminate the Shushan tribe, causing many of Shushan's treasures to be lost, and the Yu Yuan seal to be in jeopardy.

It must be said that fate is sometimes truly elusive.

In the original work, it was Donghuang Taiyi and Meng Tian who joined forces to annihilate Shushan.

But now, it is Shushan and Meng Tian who are about to go and crusade against Donghuang Taiyi, who has been possessed by Did Chi You!

The Yin-Yang School, the sect led by Donghuang Taiyi in the original work, has even turned against him early on, pointing their blades at Donghuang Taiyi.

Because the matter is urgent.

Meng Tian's army marched very quickly; the Golden Fire Cavalry are, after all, cavalry.

In just a few days, Su Xuan and his party arrived at Longxi Commandery.
