In their Tibetan culture, prisoners only had two outcomes.

Death or becoming a slave!

For leader-level figures like Songtsen Gampo and Lu Dongzan, there was basically only one outcome: death.

Lu Dongzan did not expect that Qin Mu would actually give him a way to live; this was simply pulling him back from the gates of hell alive!
