Chapter 559: I Don't Use Dirty Tricks, It's All Because Li Er Is Stupid

Xianyang Palace.

Ganlu Hall.

Fang Xuanling and Li Er had already impatiently bid farewell and left.

Li Xueyan then exclaimed.

"Husband, is our Great Qin also going to start an imperial examination? That's great!"

She still remembered the grand occasion of Great Tang's first imperial examination.

At that time.

When the scholars from humble backgrounds all over the world learned that the imperial court was opening the imperial examination for the first time, and that as long as their exam results were good, they could become officials.

The whole world was boiling!

That was the first time ordinary people saw hope of becoming officials.

Countless scholars from humble backgrounds were inspired and praised this groundbreaking initiative of the imperial court!

But no one knew that Great Tang's imperial examination turned out to be just a scam!

And the common people were still in the dark until now.

They only thought that the knowledge of scholars from humble backgrounds was indeed not as good as that of noble families, which was why none of them passed.

If it weren't for Qin Mu's personal experience, the women present would not have known about this scam.

Empress Zhangsun also sighed.

"Mu'er, the imperial examination held by our Great Qin must not be as absurd as Great Tang's. It must be a true dragon gate examination for selecting talents for the imperial court!"

Dragon gate examination, carp leaping over the dragon gate.

This is the true face that the imperial examination should have.

Wu Meiniang was young and had never been to Changancheng before, so she didn't have a deep feeling about the imperial examination.

What she was concerned about was another matter.

"Husband, you told the Great Tang envoy that you were going to hold an imperial examination. If they go back and watch over all those excellent scholars from humble backgrounds, what should we do?" Qin Mu turned his head to look at Wu Meiniang.

"What do you think?"

Wu Meiniang knew that her husband was testing her.

She didn't want her husband to be even a little bit disappointed in her.

She bit her red lips and tried hard to think.

"Husband, I think we should let the scholars from humble backgrounds in Great Tang know first that Great Tang's imperial examination is a scam!"

"Not bad!"

Qin Mu gave Wu Meiniang an encouraging smile.

Her ability to think of this already proved her political talent.

The imperial examination is a competition for scholars all over the world on the same platform.

The common people's request is only one: fairness!

Playing tricks on the imperial examination was destined to make Great Tang's imperial examination lose the hearts of the people.

Li Er and his group of officials had been hiding this matter tightly. They also knew the destructiveness it would bring once the matter spread.

Now, Qin Mu wanted to expose this matter!

Let the common people of the world know the dirty things Li Er and Zhangsun Wuji had done!

Empress Zhangsun sighed faintly.

How many hearts of scholars from humble backgrounds had the scam of Great Tang's imperial examination hurt!

Mu'er was one of them.

If, back then, Li Er had not wanted to seize his Top Graduate title, my brother Zhangsun Wuji would not have had the opportunity to force Qin Mu to defect from the Great Tang.

The starting point of all these things stemmed from the scam of Great Tang's imperial examination.

Li Er, oh Li Er, you thought you were smart and took care of the feelings of the noble families.

But you didn't know that you would lose the hearts of the people bit by bit because of this!

"Mu'er, it would be best if we could prove the fairness of our Great Qin's imperial examination while exposing the scam of Great Tang's imperial examination."

Without comparison, there is no harm.

This move is also a conspiracy that Great Tang cannot resist.

High!

"Anything else?"

Qin Mu asked with guidance.

These women had always been his assistants.

Qin Mu did not treat them as vases. Their improvement in ability was also good for Great Qin.

Seeing Wu Meiniang being praised, Changle was also unconvinced and said.

"And we must send people to protect those scholars from humble backgrounds!"

Hearing Changle's words, everyone laughed.

This child only says childish things.

There are so many scholars from humble backgrounds in the world, how could they be protected?

Empress Zhangsun, after all, had more experience.

She pondered.

"Mu'er, are you trying to completely ignite the fire in the hearts of the scholars from humble backgrounds?"

Qin Mu nodded.

"Great Tang's imperial examination is unfair; once this matter spreads, it will naturally make the scholars from humble backgrounds angry."

This fire will definitely burn.

Li Xueyan suddenly exclaimed.

"Wow, I know, Husband is deliberately provoking Prime Minister Fang, making him do the wrong thing!"

So that's how it is!

The women were convinced.

Qin Mu used human nature to the extreme.

If Great Tang restricts their freedom and doesn't allow them to find another way out.

It not only used the anger of the scholars from humble backgrounds and their desire for fairness.

It also used the urgent desire of Li Er and Fang Xuanling to keep the hearts of those scholars from humble backgrounds.

This scheming and this method are indeed unparalleled in the world!

Qin Mu laughed.

"What you said is all correct, but these are just some incidental effects."

Incidental effects?

The women were surprised.

Calculated to this extent, and it's only an incidental effect. Then how terrifying must the real conspiracy be?
