Chapter 589

They are purebred Western good horses!

How could Great Qin buy so many Western good horses?

Could it be preparing for war again?

Li Er and Fang Xuanling looked at each other, and both saw deep worry in each other's eyes.

Nowadays, Great Qin's national strength has begun to exceed the Great Tang's.

If they launch a war against the Great Tang regardless of the consequences, even if it hurts their own vitality, they can still make the Tang Dynasty collapse in one fell swoop.

Must be guarded against!

Walked closer, and saw a scene that shocked Old Li.

Such a large area, all cattle and horses!

A rough estimate, at least one hundred thousand!

Just the carts pulling grass were endless, and one couldn't see the end at a glance.

Li Er shocked out loud.

"How can there be so many cattle and horses!"

You must know, so many good horses are enough to form a cavalry legion with strong combat power!

Placed here, it seems a bit wasteful.

Qin Mu pointed his hand forward, drawing a large arc.

"These horses were all sent from the Western Regions in the past two days. There will be a steady stream of good horses sent later." Li Er wanted to probe Qin Mu.

Asked with a hidden meaning.

"So many good horses, is Great Qin going to vigorously form a new legion? Are you going to fight?"

Qin Mu sneered.

"Old Li, don't be afraid, these are not used to form a legion."

"Not forming a legion?"

Li Er and Fang Xuanling exclaimed at the same time.

In their view, these good horses only play a role if they are used to form a legion.

If not forming a legion, what are they raising them for?

Every day they need to consume a large amount of grass, bean cakes, and oats.

Qin Mu can't be that stupid!

Qin Mu looked worried and sighed heavily.

"Chancellor Fang, Old Li, you don't understand Great Qin's difficulties!"

Upon hearing that Great Qin has difficulties.

Li Er immediately gained spirit, and his face almost couldn't hold back, revealing a smile.

Fang Xuanling was half-believing.

Why didn't he feel that Great Qin had any difficulties?

Out of diplomatic etiquette, Fang Xuanling still said sincerely.

"Your Majesty, no need to worry, if there are any difficulties, the Great Tang might be able to provide some assistance." The so-called assistance is just diplomatic rhetoric.

Its true meaning is to take advantage of the fire to rob.

Just like the Great Tang coming to Great Qin territory to buy cattle, it will definitely be taken advantage of and slaughtered heavily.

Li Er also realized that this might be his chance to slaughter back.

"Yes, yes, our two countries are friendly neighbors, if there are any difficulties, just tell us. If the Great Tang can help, we will definitely help!"

The two looked at Qin Mu with full expectation.

Qin Mu frowned.

"Since I entered the Central Plains, I found that the roads in the Central Plains are not good, which seriously affects the transportation of goods between various places. So I plan to build a highway network in the Central Plains and the northern border."

"These horses are intended to be sold to exchange for money to build roads."

This made Li Er feel embarrassed.

He occupied the Central Plains for several years and never felt that the roads were not good.

Qin Mu saying that the roads were not good was like slapping him in the face.

However, it wasn't just him.

Many people have occupied the Central Plains, and no one has ever built roads on such a large scale before.

Right!

The point is, these good horses are all to be sold!

Li Er suddenly discovered that the opportunity he had been waiting for seemed to have arrived.

"Great Qin Emperor, since you are so troubled, why not sell these good horses to my Great Tang? Let my Great Tang help you solve the urgent need?" (Empress Zhangsun) Qin Mu rolled his eyes.

"What are you thinking? Didn't I say long ago that horses are not sold to the Great Tang? Want to take advantage of the fire to rob?"

Fang Xuanling saw this and also tried to persuade Qin Mu.

After all, if the Great Tang could buy these one hundred thousand horses, the army's combat power would definitely go up a level.

Great significance!

"Your Majesty, we are also kind-hearted, wanting to help Great Qin solve the problem. Besides the Great Tang's national strength, who else can eat so many good horses?"

Qin Mu saw that these two guys were really funny.

"Do you really think Great Qin is short of money to sell horses?"

"I tell you, even if I don't sell horses, Great Qin still has money to build roads. Selling horses is because Great Qin wants to encourage private car companies to vigorously develop the transportation industry!"

"Haven't you heard a saying, if you want to be rich, build roads first?"

Li Er and Fang Xuanling were collectively confused.

What kind of strange theory is this?

Good horses are not used to form cavalry, but are to be sold to the common people to run car companies?

Are car companies that important?
