Chapter 931

Jin Ling City.

Ever since Yuan Tiangang and Li Chunfeng left Jin Ling.

Li Er had placed all his hopes on the two of them.

Every day he would ask if there was any news sent back.

Li Er had never encountered an opportunity that could directly threaten Qin Mu like this in his long confrontation with Great Qin.

It was a move that could allow Great Tang to win a desperate victory, so the temptation was naturally immense.

Li Er didn't wait for their news, but instead waited for news from Master Bianji.

Master Bianji wrote a secret letter back, recounting their encounter.

After he led the Great Tang mission to the Tianzhu continent, he left the team.

But in secret, he still controlled the mission to trade with Wang Xuance.

Who would have thought that Wang Xuance would put forward a very excessive demand.

"If you want to take back Li Tai and the other accompanying personnel, you must send ten thousand pigs and one hundred thousand shi of grain!

The Great Tang mission came to reward the Great Qin army in the first place; don't even think about taking people without giving anything!"

This put Master Bianji in a difficult position.

Before he left Jin Ling, he hadn't heard that he needed to bring supplies to reward the army?

Now that the Great Qin side suddenly demanded supplies, where was he supposed to get them?

Even if he robbed people now, he couldn't get that much!

Moreover, the ground they were standing on was already Great Qin territory. If they robbed people casually, they might be executed on the spot by the Great Qin army!

Master Bianji really had no other way, so he had to write a letter back to the imperial court asking for pigs and grain!

Seeing such a secret letter, Li Er was so angry that he kicked over the dragon desk in front of him.

He had indeed forgotten to mention it.

When they were in Chang'an, Zhang Juzheng had specifically instructed them to bring some things to reward the army.

After all, Wang Xuance and the others had also worked very hard in their campaigns on the Tianzhu continent.

But he had completely forgotten; he only remembered that Li Tai was exchanged for the land of Huating.

Just as Li Er was angry, a eunuch came in to report.
