Chapter 953

He is in charge of the laws of Great Qin and remembers all kinds of legal articles by heart.

This is the crime of accepting bribes, but the amount is not particularly huge. When handling it, the minimum penalty is a one-year salary deduction, and the maximum is a three-level demotion.

The Emperor's punishment for Zhang Juzheng is obviously more severe than the legal articles.

Suddenly his heart felt a chill.

He knew that this might be a precursor. A new round of anti-corruption might be starting again, and there will surely be many people who will become ghosts under the blade!

"Bao Zheng, look at these urgent reports."

The little eunuch sent several urgent reports to Bao Zheng's hands.

Bao Zheng quickly scanned through them and closed the urgent reports.

"Your Majesty, this subject will immediately arrange for inspection officials to go to various places to investigate this matter!

I will never let a single fish slip through the net!"

Bao Zheng's face, black as charcoal, was full of firm justice.

For Bao Zheng, Qin Mu is at ease.

However, he might still not have realized the tricky aspects of this matter.

"Bao Zheng, these urgent reports were all sent to Changancheng almost simultaneously recently.

How could it be such a coincidence that the high-ranking officials in various places simultaneously noticed signs of corruption and bribery among their subordinates?" Qin Mu just gave a slight hint, and Bao Zheng suddenly realized.

"Your Majesty's meaning is that someone is secretly making trouble, using a strategy to corrode our Great Qin's officialdom?" Qin Mu nodded.

"Therefore, in this investigation, cases of corruption and bribery are secondary. First, find that black hand behind the scenes. Not only must we chop off their black hands, but we must also drag them out and beat them severely!"

This difficulty is relatively large; perhaps there are several layers behind the scenes.

Bao Zheng just doesn't fear such difficulties; the harder the case is to investigate, the more excited he is.

"Your Majesty, then this subject will go personally, and will surely make those petty people have nowhere to hide!

However, which place is appropriate for this subject to go to first?"

Qin Mu stood up and looked at the Great Qin territory map hanging on the wall.

He pointed with his finger.

"Western Regions!"
