Chapter 957

Using the tax incentives of the imperial court for the noble families, wantonly scraping the money and grain that should have belonged to the imperial court.

All of this corroborated what Fang Xuanling said.

It is indeed that the court is divided.

If not rectified, I'm afraid the Great Tang won't exist for long.

"Fine, let's reform! Where should we start the reform, Xuanling, do you have any ideas?"

During this period, Fang Xuanling has been thinking about this problem at home. Waiting for an opportunity to report to the Emperor.

Now is the opportunity he has been waiting for.

Fang Xuanling took out a folded piece of paper from his sleeve and unfolded it.

"Your Majesty, the main purpose of this reform is not to seek miraculous effects, but only to deter the court and the public!

Therefore, this subject thinks that we should first target one noble family and bypass other noble families. Issue a targeted new law?" Li Er sighed faintly.

"The noble families have always been strong, even if it is only targeting one family.

They understand the truth of 'when the lips are gone, the teeth are cold,' and they are likely to unite to resist."

Fang Xuanling unfolded the paper calmly, which was densely written with words.

"Your Majesty, the Wang family of Longcheng, the family was originally entrenched in the land of Longxing.

We can hold them accountable for Feng Shui, just say it is the Wang family that destroyed the dragon vein.

That is why the Li Tang dynasty is declining day by day..."

Wonderful!

Before Fang Xuanling finished speaking, Li Er stood up excitedly.

I really didn't expect that Fang Xuanling, who has always been honest, could actually think of such a sinister method!

"Xuanling's plan is wonderful!

However, Yuan Tiangang and Li Chunfeng have both gone out to execute tasks.

The matter of Feng Shui is still best said by the two of them, which is most credible.

Why don't we wait for them to come back?"

Fang Xuanling said to Li Er earnestly.

"Your Majesty, how can we wait for such things as harming people?

Nowadays, the four major noble families, and Zhangsun Wuji, are not in the capital.

This is the best time for Your Majesty to take action while they are weak!

We must be decisive and neat; when they rush back, what they see is that the overall situation is settled!

If we can achieve this, the matter will be done!"

Li Er deeply agreed.

I didn't think about it before, the four major noble families, in order to grab benefits, all ran to Jiaozhou, which instead created an opportunity for Li Er to rectify the Wang family this time.

It is really hard to predict the blessings and misfortunes of the world!

"Xuanling, then do you have any good Feng Shui masters to recommend?

Not only must the level be high, but also loyal. Must be able to keep this secret for me!" Fang Xuanling nodded.

"Your Majesty, there is a person, who is Yuan Tiangang's uncle, named Yuan Shoucheng.

He has been making a living by fortune-telling in the capital all year round, calculating three hexagrams every day, and has the name of a half-immortal. Summoning him here will surely be able to handle this matter well for Your Majesty."

Yuan Tiangang's uncle?

Li Er stroked his beard and pondered.
