Where is my boyfriend?!”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Hermione tried to cover back in nothing but pure terror, she now had a horrified look on her face.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>But she couldn't even move, her legs seemed to have given up!\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>There was something different in her tone of voice and Lucifer couldn't help but wonder if she'd.....\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>“W-w-what are you?\" she asked next, her throat dried up, it felt extremely cold and being drowned in molten lava at the same time.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Her body glued to the spot, body hairs stood up, and shivering like crazy.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Lucifer didn't answer, but instead just watched her. There was something so vexing about this girl.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>“I've been trying to tell you,\" Lucifer felt nervous, but he still used mild exasperation in his voice.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>“I'm the Devil.”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"That's… that's not possible,\" Hermione said, she'd clutched her wand now though it hardly mattered.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>“I assure you, Hermione, it is,\" Lucifer said defiantly, now transforming back to his good-looking human face, which caused the girl to let out a huge gasp.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>“I mean, you've said so yourself there are things you can't explain. I am not so-called - Merlin's Descendant.”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>“You need more proof? You've got the wand. Come on, use the Killing curse on me.”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>“First it's a crime, besides I would never....on you,\" Hermione replied, she had now somehow gotten over her lack of courage now.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>“Sure you can,” Lucifer said easily. \"Go on, give her a flick, we'll be good to go.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>“No.”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>“Just use the curse, Hermione! Please because maybe you'll finally realize-”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>“Diffindo!”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>But his words were interrupted by a loud noise of bang.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Lucifer felt a point of pressure on his lower leg. Such a sweet girl, she hadn't even gone for a blasting spell.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"There, now do you believe me?\" Lucifer asked moving his leg on the ground to indicate, spell did nothing  on him....\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>“Or was just a leg shot not enough to convince you, hmm? How about the head next time?”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Hermione just stared at him, or more accurately, at his leg.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Maybe I missed,\" she said, but it was almost a mumble, like she was trying to convince herself.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>“Just give it here,” Lucifer sighed, reaching forward and grabbing her wand.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Pointing it at himself.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>“Avada Kedavra!”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>“LUCIFER, NO!”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Fired at his own chest, once again feeling that slight flick of pressure this time right over his heart.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>“Is that enough for you?” he asked.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>“Or do you need me to show you my Devil face again? Though I do prefer to reserve that for people I don't like.”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Again she just stared at him, almost unblinking.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"You're the Devil,\" Hermione said, under her breath.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>“Haha...That is what I've been known for the last few thousand milenia, yes...”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Run! Bathroom!\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Lucifer went to knock on the door.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Slowly the door opened just a crack, stopped short by the security chain that prevented it from opening further.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>“Are you alright, Hermione?”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>“Why did you follow me?\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>She whispered.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>This was so foolish. He could barely hear her through the door let alone see her face when she replied.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Open the door, Hermione,\" Lucifer asked nicely, it gave him a sense of deja-vu from the troll incident.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>“This is hardly any way to hold a conversation.”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"What will you do to me if I open it?\" she replied.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Well speak properly, of course,\" Lucifer said. \"Rather than whispering through a door.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>But he could tell just by the sliver of her face he could see that she was not about to do that.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"It's just a door, Hermione,\" Lucifer sighed, this night he knew it was one of the most important, if he wanted to stay here ....\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>“It isn't strong enough to stop me. You know, I could break it effortlessly. I just want to talk.”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>“If you really are the Devil,” Hermione began quietly. \"Then why are you here talking to me?!” she almost yelled.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Lucifer wasn't focused on what she was saying but rather the fact that she'd stepped back from the door.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Gently so as not to create any ricochet behind the door, Lucifer reached up and broke the chain.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>He then slowly stepped forward.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Ah yes, much better,\" he said, smiling. \"Now we can talk properly.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Leave me alone,\" Hermione said next, backing away from him while keeping both eyes on his face.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"There's no need for this,\" Lucifer said calmly. \"We've been together for years already or have you forgotten?\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>His words seemed to have no effect so Lucifer held up his hands and continued, \"I'm not going to hurt you, Hermione. I would never hurt you.”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"But if you really are the Devil then you're evil,\" she said, softly under her breath.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Something deep inside Lucifer tied itself into knots at her words. It was a strange feeling and one he'd never felt before.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>He didn't like it.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>She hadn't been a believer before so where was she getting this from.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Lucifer flashed his memories back, and realised for a second when he was at Granger's Residence to pick her up, one book inside her room....\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>“Ah, now I remember, been doing some research on me then, have you?\" Lucifer smiled.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>“Let's hear it, what do those religious zealots think I've done this time, hmm?\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"How many people have you killed?\" she asked slowly.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Lucifer could tell just by looking at her body language that every inch of her wanted to run, and it hurt.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>He wasn't sure why this one human's opinion of him mattered so much, but somehow it did.....sigh he knew the reason...just been denying for a while.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>“None before the World Cup,” Lucifer replied easily, reapers aren't human so they don't count.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>“Angels aren't allowed to kill humans, unless you need to save a pure one.
