Madame Maxime’s staying to judge, isn’t she?\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Bet Lucifer would love that,\" Hermione said coming viciously towards her boy, \"wouldn’t you?\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Lucifer simply rolled his eyes and sighed, \"Would you stop? I’m not arguing with you about this anymore.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Harry and Ron turned back, to see\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>the girl is hurrying down the stairs, her box of S.P.E.W. badges in hand,\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Thank you for waiting on me,\" she said to Lucifer blankly.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>....Harry and Ron for a moment thought both didn’t exist.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Come on, let’s go and see Hagrid,\" Harry said and they all set forth to go and see the friendly giant of a man.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>As they got nearer to Hagrid’s Hut, the Beauxbatons girls also had gone in roughly the same direction, since their Carriage was parked about two-hundred yards away.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Told you,\" Lucifer said, smirking at being right.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Harry knocked on Hagrid’s door and it was a moment before he opened up.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Bout time!\" Hagrid said when he flung the door open, \"Thought you lot had forgotten where I live.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Sorry, Hagrid, we’ve just been really bu-\" Hermione had started to say, but she stopped dead in her tracks when she saw Hagrid.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Hagrid was wearing a horrible looking hairy brown suit, plus a yellow and orange checkered tie.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Unfortunately for Hermione, it only got worse the more she looked.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>He had apparently tried to time his mountain of hair with what appeared to be axle grease.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>It had been slicked down into two bunches.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>The look didn’t suit Hagrid in the slightest, and Hermione just simply didn’t comment on it at all.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Er... wh-where are the Skrewts?\" She changed the subject.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Ou\" by the pumpkin patch,\" he thumbed in its direction, \"they’re gettin’ massive. Mus’ be three feet long by now. On’y trouble is... they’ve started killin’ each other.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Oh no, really?\" Hermione feigned disappointment.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>The other three pretended to be torn up about it as well.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Yeah,\" Hagrid said sadly, \" ’S’ okay, though, I’ve got ’em in separate boxes now. Still got abou’ twenty.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Well, that’s good,\" Ron said sarcastically, which completely went over Hagrid’s head.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Oh, Hagrid, before I forget,\" Hermione brought out the box of badges, \"Would you like an S.P.E.W. badge?\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"A wha\"?\" Hagrid asked, looking at her, confused.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"A badge to show you’re a member of the Society for the Promotion of Elfish Welfare,\" Lucifer said.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Hermione then launched into an explanation about their club and all that, and Hagrid was a bit at odds about it, \"I dunno, it’d be doin’ ’em an\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>unkindness...\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"They used to be free Eighteen Hundred years ago. Did you know that?\" Lucifer asked him.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"No, I had no idea they were once free,\" Hagrid turned to Lucifer having gotten his full attention.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Wizardkind waged a war on them with the intent to enslave, and over the generations, they’ve been abused, mentally and physically, to know only one thing: Obey their Master,\" Lucifer had said.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>It made Hermione go to a little dazed, as she now full-on stared at Lucifer’s face.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Wizarding Laws haven’t gotten any better, and it was centuries before the Law about House-Elves being freed with clothing was introduced. Sure, not all House-Elves are abused, but ones like Dobby were. Getting House-Elf abuse brought to the light is our first goal.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"If they themselves see how badly some of them have it, without thinking that those Elves are just bad House-Elves, then we can move on to Phase Two, get them to understand they were once a Free Race.\" Lucifer’s words seemed to have deeply affected\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Hagrid, because next thing they all knew.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>He was asking Hermione how much they cost, and he had bought four of them.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Hermione’s face had brightened considerably, and she kissed Lucifer right there, for it was his words that convinced Hagrid to buy four badges.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Ron looked disgusted at both of them.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Who’s tha’?\" Hagrid asked.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>From out the window, the quartet could see heads of the Lucifer Morningstar fan club making their way across the grounds towards Hagrid’s hut.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Hagrid, lock the door!\" Hermione said quickly.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Wha’? Why?\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Too late. The front door swung open to reveal Emily Weir at the front of the group with a large grin plastered on her face.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Lucifer! We’ve been looking for you!\" She said.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Of course you have ... \" he sighed.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"We were wondering if you wanted a tour of the Beauxbatons carriage. We could show you our room.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"We would love to!\" Ron exclaimed, but was ignored by all the girls who seemed to be staring into Lucifer’s soul, who kept a tight grip on Hermione’s hand so she wouldn’t attack them.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Thanks, but I already promised Eve to show each other around....\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Oh, Really?\" Emily asked, but didn’t wait for an answer before saying, \"Great! We’ll see you there!\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"We’ll, tha’ was weird...\" Hagrid said.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"I know!\" Harry exclaimed in annoyance. \"They didn’t even notice me and I’m the bloody the-boy-who-lived!\".\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Or me!\" Ron complained.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"You’re not going anywhere near her!\" Hermione growled, staring in the said direction, \"And I’m not letting you out of my bloody sight!\" she said angrily.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>xxxxxx\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>By half past five it was growing dark, and Ron, Harry, Hermione, and Lucifer decided it was time to get back up to the castle for the Halloween feast - and, more importantly, the announcement of the school champions.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"I’ll come with yeh, eh, jus’ a sec,\" Hagrid said, and he went over to the chest of drawers beside his bed, and began searching for something inside it.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>They didn’t pay too much attention until a truly horrible smell reached their nostrils. Cough, Ron asked, \"Hagrid, what’s that?\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Eh?\" Hagrid asked, turning around with a large bottle in his hand, \"Don’ yeh like it?\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"No,\" Lucifer said bluntly, holding his hand up to his nose, \"it smells horrible.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>He wasn’t one to usually be affected by absolutely putrid smells, but whatever Hagrid was using, it almost made him gag.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Is that aftershave?\" Hermione asked in a slightly choked voice.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Er-eau de cologne,\" Hagrid muttered. He was turning red in the face, \"maybe a bit much,\" he said gruffly. \"I’ll go take it off, hang on...\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>He stumbled out of the cabin, and they saw him washing himself vigorously in the water barrel\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>outside the window.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Eau de Cologne?\" Hermione muttered to herself, \"Hagrid?\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"And what’s with the hair and the suit?\" Harry asked in an undertone.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"I think I see the reason, look,\" Lucifer said and they all followed his gaze out the window.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Hagrid had also just straightened up and turned around.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>If he had been blushing before, it was nothing to what he was doing now.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Lucifer decided to go ahead and get back up to the Castle, realizing that dinner would be starting soon.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>He kept looking at the Beauxbatons as they walked out of their Carriage.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Even with the growing darkness, he caught sight of Eve as she seemed to glide across the grounds.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Lucifer’s two friends and Ron must have picked up on what he did, as they were following him out of the Hut after a moment.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Hagrid fancies Madame Maxime?\" Harry asked, looking ever so slightly repulsed.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"It would appear so...\" Hermione said, not sure what else to say about it.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>As they made their way up to the Castle, Ron got their attention.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Look, the Durmstrang lot are heading up to the Castle as well!\" Ron watched Krum excitedly.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>The four of them reached the doors at the same time as the Durmstrang students, and their Headmaster, with Krum leading the way.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Lucifer reached the door first and proceeded to walk through, only for Krum to cut in front of him,\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Excuse me? Who the fu- argh,\" he lurched forward and to his right, holding his ribcage.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Lucifer looked to his right and saw Hermione, she had elbowed him aggressively hard, \"What was that for, Granger?\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"There is no need to cause a scene and disrupt the Tournament proceedings, no matter how much I didn’t want to stop you,\" Hermione said, looking regretfully at him.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>He eyed her carefully, his gaze softening towards her.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Okay...\" he said.
