"What's wrong with you?" the System NPC asked, somewhat puzzled.

Ji Xiang exited the System Operating Room.

"General Manager Xu, this patient isn't easy to handle," Lu Kai said, mimicking the General Manager's habit of reading people. "She was cursing her boyfriend so fluently just now; I'm worried she might..."

"Do you know how to apply a Clavicle Strap?" General Manager Xu interrupted Lu Kai to ask.

Lu Kai hesitated.

A Clavicle Strap was easy to apply, and he did know how, but the patient's recent irritability and the 'reading' General Manager Xu mentioned made Lu Kai shrink back.

After hesitating again and again, Lu Kai still said nothing.

"General Manager Xu, I'll go," Ji Xiang said.

General Manager Xu took Ji Xiang and Lu Kai to the ward.

"You guys came from the Urology Department, so you rarely see emergencies," General Manager Xu said. "In Surgery, both Urology and Vascular Surgery are considered relatively leisurely departments with few emergencies."

As he spoke, he suddenly remembered something. "Don't argue with me; it's truly rare for a Resident Chief like Wu Zong to encounter three or five cases of Testicular Torsion in a single night shift."

"So, when there's food, you have to eat it quickly. If a patient comes halfway through, you can't make them wait. By the time you're done dealing with the patient, the food is inedible."

The patient was taken away, and he didn't say much else, taking Ji Xiang and Lu Kai to the operating room.

"I don't know." Ji Xiang hadn't noticed this; he had been simulating the surgery based on the fracture patterns in the imaging.

Although the surgery wasn't difficult, Ji Xiang's high level of skill meant that the 'perfect' surgery he envisioned was completely different from what Lu Kai, or even General Manager Xu, thought.

"I reckon he's waiting for Zhao Tianjiao," Lu Kai said. "Medical second-generation heirs really have an advantage. I'm standing at the starting line, but they're already in Rome."

Ji Xiang didn't speak, just patted Lu Kai on the shoulder.

"Ji Xiang, do you think there's a future in being a medical escort?" Lu Kai suddenly asked an unrelated question.
