Chapter 368

"By then, you can also migrate their families to Jingzhou together;"

"Wait until you can't recruit more young men in Nanyang, then go to recruit young men in other commanderies of Jingzhou!"

"After all, Nanyang hasn't truly fallen into your hands yet;"

"Leaving Yuan Shu to continue developing here and recruiting young men is equivalent to aiding the enemy;"

"It's better for you to do it yourself!"

"Avoid him ruining the young population of Nanyang!"

"The young men in the territory that has already fallen into your hands can wait until there is a need in the future to recruit;"

"Or, first recruit and train a batch in your reserve way;"

"When needed, they can quickly form an army."

Su Xuan heard this and his eyes lit up: "Father, your reminder is so timely!"

"If you hadn't said it, I would have really forgotten about this!"

"Indeed, we should recruit from Nanyang and even Yingchuan first;"

"I will have the Secret Guard send a letter to Hansheng and Dian Wei, asking them to secretly send people to recruit young men in the counties of Nanyang;"

"As for Dengxian, leave it to Zhang He!"

"I plan to have Zhang He replace you, Father, to sit in Dengxian and Gaoyang;"

"At the same time, recruit and expand the Brave Cavalry Battalion."

The Brave Cavalry Battalion with only 3,000 people should also be expanded.

The expected number should be 8,000-10,000.

At the same time, it will no longer be a pure cavalry unit, but must be changed to a mixed infantry and cavalry unit.

To adapt to the needs of future wars.

Cavalry for raids, infantry for attacking and defending cities.

"Zhang He? Fine!"

Su Lie heard this, nodded knowingly, and waved his hand: "Then hurry up and arrange it! I will also start packing things up!"

"The matter of recruiting young men must be fast, initially secret, don't let Yuan Shu discover it. By then, he will definitely cause destruction and snatch people;"

"Cannot let him squeeze the value of Nanyang dry."

"Even for taxes, you must also have the Secret Guard pay attention to Yuan Shu's dynamics at any time, don't let him cheat you."

This point must be guarded against.

"Good!"

Su Xuan nodded solemnly: "I will arrange it! I'm leaving first!"

Saying this, Su Xuan said goodbye to his parents, first found Zhang He, and ordered: "Junyi! Next, you will lead the Brave Cavalry Battalion to sit in Dengxian and Gaoyang;"

"At the same time, quietly start recruiting a large number of young men from the areas in Nanyang not occupied by our army, expand the Brave Cavalry Battalion to 10,000, including 6,000 cavalry and 4,000 infantry, and rename the Brave Cavalry Battalion to the Brave Cavalry Army, changing from pure cavalry to a mixed infantry and cavalry unit;"

"The matter of recruiting soldiers must be fast, as low-key as possible, and hide the news, let Yuan Shu know later, understand?"

"Yes!"

Zhang He was overjoyed and also said with a serious expression: "The end general will definitely not fail the Lord's high expectations!"

With this, the military force in his hands has more than tripled!

How could he not be happy.

More troops means being valued, and also means that in the final battle, he can earn more military merit.
