Chapter 681

As for why they were separated?

It is shameful to say, but it is because they encountered a huge group of terrifying exotic wolves in the mountains and forests.

The weakest of these exotic wolves had Gangjin strength, and the strongest were comparable to Heaven-Man, super terrifying.

There were no fewer than 100 of them.

It made Especially Guan Yu Yu and the others have to run for their lives, and in the end, Especially Guan Yu Yu had to separate from his eldest brother and third brother to lure these wolves away.

That was how they were separated.

Originally, Especially Guan Yu Yu was prepared to set off again to reunite with his eldest brother and third brother in Yecheng after his injuries healed.

But now, he had to temporarily change his plan and rush towards Xiapi City.

He had to save his two sisters-in-law before they arrived in Xiapi City.

"This Cao Cao has a very bad reputation when it comes to women; I heard he likes other men's wives, so I absolutely cannot let my two sisters-in-law fall into his hands! Otherwise, their reputation will be ruined, and my eldest brother's face will be gone;"

"More importantly, my eldest brother's flesh and blood, which hasn't been born yet, will likely fall into the hands of the thief."

Thinking this, Especially Guan Yu Yu had to drag his injured body and rush all the way to Xiapi City.

Along the way, he kept asking about the situation of his two sisters-in-law.

A few days later, he finally found out that his sisters-in-law would arrive in Xiapi City in 2 days.

And he was less than a hundred miles away from his two sisters-in-law at this time.

Especially Guan Yu Yu immediately seized the time to catch up.

At this time, several days had passed since Cao Cao met Liu Bei's two concubines.

Cao Cao also successfully "persuaded" Liu Bei's two concubines according to his plan, as expected.

He made them honestly cooperate according to his plan.

To make the plan flawless, Cao Cao had also worked very hard these days, laboring all the way.

Finally, 1 day later, he successfully lured Especially Guan Yu Yu, who came to rescue his two sisters-in-law, into the trap and blocked him squarely.

Then, Cao Cao sent Xia Houyuan to persuade him to surrender.

"Brother Yunchang! You wouldn't want your two sisters-in-law to have an accident, and you wouldn't want your two unborn nephews and nieces to have an accident, right?"

After Xia Houyuan's persuasion failed, he directly played his trump card, delivering a fatal blow to Especially Guan Yu Yu.

"You... I... this..."

Especially Guan Yu Yu was speechless upon hearing this, his face looking very bad: "Cao Cao is a prince of a region; is it possible he wants to bully my eldest brother's wife and children?"

"Eh! Brother Yunchang! That's not how you say it!"

Xia Houyuan shook his head with a smile upon hearing this: "You and I are still enemies at this time; when dealing with enemies, nothing is considered excessive, right?"

"Even if it's cutting the weeds and eliminating the roots, that's a matter of course, isn't it?"

"No one wants to leave trouble for themselves, right?"

"It's just that my eldest brother has taken a fancy to you and values your talent and loyalty, which is why he is willing to compromise;"

"The general has already been separated from your two brothers, and you probably can't find them for a while;"

"Why not temporarily agree to my lord's recruitment, temporarily join my lord's command, and while working for my lord to repay my lord's kindness, look for the whereabouts of your two brothers?"

"In this way, you can also protect your two sisters-in-law and the children in their wombs, right?"

"This..."

Especially Guan Yu Yu hesitated upon hearing this, and his thoughts were clearly shaken.

Indeed, he could not leave his two sisters-in-law and the children in their wombs alone.

In the end, Especially Guan Yu Yu had to compromise: "I can agree to you! But I want to make a three-point agreement with the Han Wang!"

"First, while I remain under the Han Wang's command, he must ensure the safety of my two sisters-in-law and the children in their wombs, and not let them have the slightest mishap;"

"Second, he must fully assist me in finding the whereabouts of my eldest brother and third brother, and must not hide their news from me;"

"Third: Once I get the whereabouts of my two brothers, I must immediately take my two sisters-in-law and the children in their wombs and leave to reunite with my eldest brother and third brother; the Han Wang must not obstruct us in any form;"

"If the Han Wang can agree to these three points, then Especially Guan Yu Yu is willing to temporarily serve under the Han Wang's tent, how about that?"

"Ah, this..."

Xia Houyuan was stunned upon hearing this, and then frowned.

These conditions were a bit too harsh!

Isn't this empty-handed white wolf?

What if he finds out the whereabouts of Liu Bei and Zhang Fei all of a sudden? Wouldn't Especially Guan Yu Yu just run away directly?

"I can't make a decision on this matter; I have to ask my lord before I can reply to you, General!"

Xia Houyuan did not get angry directly in the end, but bowed his hands.

"Fine! General, go and return quickly!"

Especially Guan Yu Yu naturally had no objection and also knew that his conditions were a bit excessive.

But he had to do this.

Otherwise, he would rather take his two sisters-in-law and the children in their wombs and commit suicide here than temporarily defect to Cao Cao.

"Fine! I'll be back soon!"

Xia Houyuan nodded and agreed immediately, turned on his horse and returned to Cao Cao's side, and told Cao Cao all of Especially Guan Yu Yu's conditions one by one.

Then he said: "My lord! These conditions of Especially Guan Yu Yu are a bit excessive! It's clearly wanting to play the empty-handed white wolf! If possible, it's best not to agree to him."
