Chapter 197: Conflict

After forming the idea, Ishihara immediately dispelled the Wood Release clone, then cast Wood Release Clone again to teleport over.

Konoha Village.

Watching Ishihara vanish and reappear once more, Danzo had already gone numb.

"Do you possess the Spirit Transformation Technique?"

Ishihara asked eagerly.

Danzo froze, then shook his head.

"The Spirit Transformation Technique is a secret art of the Katō clan; only the Katō clan has it."

"However, the Katō clan has now declined; there are only a few Chunin left in the village."

Upon hearing this, Ishihara immediately said, "I want the Spirit Transformation Technique!"

Danzo's expression shifted slightly, but he still nodded.

Ishihara said, "Bring out the Flying Thunder God Technique now."

"Don't you already possess a space-time ninjutsu?"

Danzo asked, somewhat puzzled.

Ishihara frowned. "Stop wasting words!"

Danzo sighed, then took out another scroll from his person and handed it over.

Ishihara opened it and saw it was indeed the Flying Thunder God Technique.

He quickly scanned through it once.

【You have read the Flying Thunder God Technique; you have mastered the Flying Thunder God Technique】

"As expected, the Flying Thunder God Technique is quite similar to my teleportation technique; there is little room for improvement left."

However, many usage methods within the Flying Thunder God Technique were very useful to him.

Looking at the nervous Danzo, he said:

"The Flying Thunder God Technique is already complete; I cannot improve it further."

"Therefore, the only thing available for trade is the Impure World Reincarnation Technique!"

Upon hearing this, a flash of anger crossed Danzo's face.

Ishihara did not care and immediately began crafting the inheritance scroll.

Soon the scroll was finished; he threw it directly to Danzo. "Don't forget my Spirit Transformation Technique. You may leave."

Danzo took the scroll and left without saying a word.

Even though he was furious inside, he could only hold it in!

But before leaving, he opened the inheritance scroll to obtain the Impure World Reincarnation Technique, then walked out.

Splash!

As soon as Danzo emerged, he saw a large crowd rushing toward him from the opposite side.

Leading them, the Third Hokage stared at him with eyes blazing like fire. "Danzo, what have you done?"

Danzo's face was extremely grim. This trip to meet Ishihara had not only failed his plan to control the other with Izanami, but he himself had been coerced into handing over all forbidden techniques.

Most importantly, without Ishihara's support, he now lacked confidence facing the Third Hokage.

"Nothing; I merely conducted a trade with Ishihara!"

The Third Hokage's expression changed drastically; he stepped forward and growled, "What did you trade?"

Danzo replied expressionlessly, "The Flying Thunder God Technique and the Impure World Reincarnation Technique."

"Damn it, you actually traded even the Impure World Reincarnation...!"

The Third Hokage roared in anger, but seeing the glances of the people around him, he quickly stopped and demanded sternly:

"Where is the inheritance scroll?!"

Danzo's expression shifted slightly; before he could hide the inheritance scroll, the Third Hokage snatched it away and opened it.

"Why is there only the Impure World Reincarnation?"

Over here, the Third Hokage and Danzo were arguing.

Fugaku, who had come with the Third Hokage, heard their conversation and his expression instantly changed.

If Danzo used the Impure World Reincarnation Technique against them, then the Uchiha would be in danger.
