Obito sneered at this.

"Is that so? Since he acknowledged you, why didn't he tell you your true origins?"

"Why didn't he take care of you, or guide you, or protect you?"

"Most importantly, why didn't he reveal your identity as the Fourth Hokage's son, leaving you isolated all the same?!"

Naruto glared at Obito in rage, steam hissing from both nostrils.

He wanted to refute Obito's words, yet he could find no excuse to make for the Third Hokage.

Could it be that the Third Hokage was merely using him, brainwashing him?

Disappointment!

Hatred!

A flood of negative emotions surged into Naruto's mind, making his expression and gaze turn savage.

The cracks in the seal were widening.

Unbidden, the smiles of the villagers in Naruto's memories surfaced in his mind.

Rage began to erupt!

On what grounds could they laugh so happily?!

On what grounds must I suffer so?!

A strange aura began to spread: cold, savage, bloody, utterly evil...

The Nine-Tails' seal loosened once more!

Kakashi and the others stared at Naruto in horror.
