Chapter 279: May Extra Chapter Summary

May Extra Chapter Summary

May Extra Chapter Summary

May's total monthly ticket count is 12,568, with a need for 41 extra chapters (4,000 characters), and 15 have already been released.

At the end of April I said I would try to reach ten thousand words a day; in May I achieved ten thousand words on ten days, which I suppose counts as keeping my promise.

May's total updated word count was 27.4w, with an average daily update close to 9k; among part-time authors I'd say I'm fairly diligent, at least I know of no other part-time author who updates more than I do!

May 31st is the last day of May's peripheral activities; after the prize draw at noon on June 1st, I will compile a list of all winning readers once. This kind of peripheral activity is my first attempt; the results differ somewhat from expectations, but it's not a big problem.

Readers who didn't win the Commemorative Coin need not be discouraged; I had anticipated this possibility, so when making them I produced a few extra. The extras will be sent out starting tomorrow via another peripheral activity format—no lottery this time; anyone who meets the requirements will definitely receive one.

Of course, the requirements will be a bit more complicated; I'll reveal them in advance, and they have nothing to do with readers' points.

At the same time, there will be another peripheral activity tomorrow; this time the prizes are Spirit Descent·Water-Chanting Throne, Spirit Descent·Frosty Sky All Cold, Spirit Descent·Azure Feather Wind Cry plus Silver Horn, Xiao Hong's Spirit Descent illustration, and a choice of one of five peripheral framed pictures.

It looks like this.

By the way, tomorrow's update will be postponed to 3 p. m., adjusting my schedule a bit.

In June I'll continue to strive and work hard on updates, so I'm asking for your monthly votes!
