Chapter 89: Blue Scale Flood Dragon Falls, Deep Blue Scales! (510 seeking subscriptions!)

Qin Chuan knew the Blue Scale Flood Dragon's whereabouts well.

At this moment, he only casually took a detour, then led Yue Li straight toward the Blue Scale Flood Dragon.

Not long after, a low "rumbling" sound appeared ahead.

"Cry—"

Xiao Qing let out a sharp cry, flapping its wings and descending from the high sky.

"There's a waterfall ahead." Yue Li, having received the report from Xiao Qing, slowed her steps and spoke softly, "The nest of that Blue Scale Flood Dragon is in the pool beneath the waterfall."

"Good." Qin Chuan nodded slightly.

He was equally clear about this.

"In the upcoming battle, Shui Hua and Xue Gao will strike first, with Xiao Qing cooperating." He said the tactics he had thought up days ago and the observations of the past few days, "The Blue Scale Flood Dragon's strength will increase somewhat in water; we must make it leave the water environment."

"Xue Gao's Frost Cold can lower the temperature of a body of water, luring it out; its combined skill with Shui Hua can make the Blue Scale Flood Dragon leave the water, at which point Xiao Qing will push with a tornado to fling it onto the shore."

Over the past four days, under Qin Chuan's guidance, Shui Hua and Xue Gao have initially mastered the technique of using an ice-water mixture to achieve a vortex strangling.

"Once on shore, Xiao Hong can better participate in the battle."

Qin Chuan glanced at the Flare-Tailed Squirrel; it too had reached Growth Tier Lv20, no longer the harmless little critter it once was.

Not mentioning the Flame Tornado skill it combines with Xiao Qing, just its own skill already deals considerable damage.

"Good." Yue Li nodded, eyes gleaming with anticipation, "When the time comes, the four spirit beasts will coordinate in one wave and take it down in one go!"

The two locked eyes, each filled with excitement.

As the "rumbling" grew louder, soon a pool of accumulated water appeared before them; on the far side of the pool, a waterfall tens of meters high crashed down with a thunderous roar.

Qin Chuan watched the dynamic display on the map.

At this moment, the light dots marking his and the Blue Scale Flood Dragon's positions had completely overlapped.

Although the Blue Scale Flood Dragon showed no head, it was right beneath this pool.

It had even sensed their arrival, casting a wary glance.

"Xue Gao! Attack!"

"Mmm~"

Xue Gao gave Qin Chuan a firm nod, its form drifting to the center of the lake; the ice-crystal snowflakes at the back of its head slowly turned, and a stern chill gradually seeped into the water.

It did not directly freeze the nearby lake water, but this chronic invasion of cold was even more terrifying; as the lake water convected, the temperature of the entire pool gradually dropped.

Sensing this keenly, the Blue Scale Flood Dragon hiding underwater could no longer stay still.

At this temperature it could still endure, but if it kept dropping, who knows what would happen.

Its slender body darted through the water at great speed, bursting from the lake bottom in an instant and opening its bloody maw to bite at Xue Gao in the air.

Xue Gao's ice-crystal-like eyes instantly locked onto the Blue Scale Flood Dragon, scattering into falling snow to dodge the sudden attack.

At the same time, Shui Hua, which had not yet acted from the shore, stepped on light-blue ripples, its form becoming a blur as it rushed straight toward the Blue Scale Flood Dragon.

Countless streams of water shot up from the lake surface beneath its feet, then, like heavy artillery, blasted toward the Blue Scale Flood Dragon under Shui Hua's control.

Before the Blue Scale Flood Dragon could react to the missed strike, it had already taken several hits from the torrent bursts; in pain, it instantly flew into a rage.

"Roar!"

It let out a fierce roar; invisible sound waves rippled the water surface, instantly forming towering waves several meters high.

As the towering wave was about to overturn and surge toward Shui Hua, Shui Hua suddenly let out a loud bark.

"Woof!!!" The Blue Scale Flood Dragon's body stiffened for a moment; although only an instant, its half-formed skill was interrupted, and the huge wave slammed heavily onto the lake surface, quickly buffering and dissipating.

The next instant, it suddenly shivered.

At some point, the recondensed Frost Cold of Xue Gao behind the Blue Scale Flood Dragon erupted fully, instantly forming countless tiny ice crystals in the surrounding lake water.

The water column rose like a dragon, entwining ice crystals to envelop the Blue Scale Flood Dragon, and under Shui Hua's full control it spun rapidly, launching a strangling assault on the Blue Scale Flood Dragon.

"Good!"

Seeing that Shui Hua and Xue Gao's moves went as expected, Yue Li, watching from the shore, couldn't help but cheer.

Meanwhile, Qin Chuan turned his gaze toward Xiao Qing in the sky.

Xiao Qing's silhouette turned into a blue blur, continuing to circle the tornado in the sky; the tornado's scale had already become quite massive.

Seeing this, he slightly relaxed.

The success of Xue Gao and Shui Hua's attacks was due to their being sufficiently unexpected.

But the Blue Scale Flood Dragon would soon react.

Therefore, Xiao Qing's next move would be crucial.

Accompanied by the high-speed rotating ice crystals scraping repeatedly over the Blue Scale Flood Dragon's hard scales, producing a grating sound, its eyes turned completely blood-red; the horn on its forehead burst with light, instantly raising its formidable strength by a notch.

The high-speed spinning water flow froze in an instant, accompanied by the Blue Scale Flood Dragon's tail flick exploding outward.

"Xiao Qing!" Qin Chuan's steady voice rang out at this moment.

Xiao Qing in the air, carrying a tornado it had been building up, slammed down forcefully; the light-blue gale precisely wrapped the Blue Scale Flood Dragon, completely lifting it off the lake surface.

The Blue Scale Flood Dragon's heightened strength instantly fell back.

Before it could struggle, the tornado, under Xiao Qing's control, violently hurled it toward the shore.

"Squeak!"

Xiao Hong on the shore stared intently at the Blue Scale Flood Dragon flying toward it.

Its flame-condensed tail expanded dozens of times; it then swung round and smashed the Blue Scale Flood Dragon hard, like a massive slap to the dragon's head, directly swatting it away.

Quickly arriving, Xue Gao raised its long blade high; a slash released an icy-blue blade of extreme cold that instantly struck the Blue Scale Flood Dragon's waist, a fierce blow that shattered its hard scales, the chill permeating its body and stiffening it instantly.

The Indomitable Heart had already been triggered; this blade was only the beginning, bearing enhanced combat techniques, Xue Gao's blade fell like successive waves, chopping down continuously.

After it sheathed its blade and retreated, the swiftly soaring Xiao Qing flashed past the Blue Scale Flood Dragon's wound, its wings wrapped in sharp power like a blade precisely striking the scar left by Xue Gao's blade.

Shui Hua didn't move.

The one that had returned to the shore had only one task: to stop the Blue-scaled Flood Dragon from contacting the water environment with all its strength.

Not long after, Qin Chuan and Yue Li simultaneously received a notification.
