Chapter 44
Cheers!
Cheers!
This is the first volume of this book.
It is also my first story attempting this genre.
I don’t know how others experienced it.
But personally, I am very satisfied.
Because this kind of story makes me feel I am writing a novel, not just padding words for money.
The beginning and end of the story echo each other.
Every foreshadowing I planted was ultimately resolved; I believe I left nothing unaccounted for.
Shi Ji’s large buttocks correspond to his abilities.
The disappearance of the corpse and the opening dialogue between Fang Zhi and Wen Chao correspond to Wen Chao’s use of his wife to forge a corpse.
The reason Qi Zhiyong troubled the protagonist corresponds to his eventual cause of death.
Every item the protagonist acquired eventually found its use.
Talismans, spiritual powers, artifacts, pig intestines, toolboxes, longevity peaches, a mobile phone…
Such correspondences are countless; I won’t list them all.
From the start of my writing, I wanted to craft a complete story—one where beginning and end are the same tale, a closed logical loop, with little fluff, little meaningless plot, a story with a clear beginning and end.
In long epics, I lack this ability.
But within this book’s one blessed land, I believe I came as close as possible—I surpassed my earlier efforts, so I wrote with ease and satisfaction.
In the coming plotlines, I will also strive to maintain this standard.
Please look forward to the new chapters.
