Chapter 76: Post-Launch Remarks
After more than a month of updates, this book has finally reached the time to launch.
It will launch tomorrow night at nine o'clock. After the launch, the basic daily update is 6,000 words, and the additional update rule is one update for every 1,000 monthly tickets and one update for every alliance leader.
Thanks to my editor, Star River, for giving me great encouragement and recommendation support.
Alright, the important information is finished, let's talk about this book with everyone:
First of all, I am really grateful for everyone's company and support. This book is undoubtedly the best-performing book I have ever had, so much so that until now I still have a feeling of being dizzy, thinking everything is a beautiful dream.
I am twenty-one this year, an ordinary senior college student. When other classmates went to intern or take the postgraduate entrance exam, I chose to stay at home and write books.
Of course, this is not the first time I have written a book. I first wrote a book in high school. At that time, I saw an advertisement saying that a certain writer earned millions a year, which brought a great shock to my young heart, so I tried to write fan fiction on a small website.
Then it became a boutique.
Everyone thought it was luck, so after that fan fiction ended, I opened an original one, and it became a big boutique...
Just when I was full of fighting spirit and wanted to be a good author, I received an iron fist from my parents and could only live on campus and study painfully with all my heart.
Later, I successfully got into college. At that time, there was a high school author who was the same as me, but he got into college and didn't go to write, but chose to continue writing books.
Later, when I was overwhelmed in college due to the epidemic, studies, dormitories, feelings... and other problems, this guy had already saved two million.
Sigh... I also thought about writing books during college, but on the one hand, my major was busy, and on the other hand, there were two guys in the dormitory playing games all night every day. I was lucky enough not to have a nervous breakdown, let alone write books.
It wasn't until the first semester of my senior year that I finally had the opportunity to come to Qidian and open my first book after a long time.
But what followed was a series of blows. First, I didn't know the rules of Qidian, so I only got on the recommendation list when the previous book was 120,000 words, which led to a hasty launch without much exposure.
Secondly, the most critical thing was the academic problem. That book just launched and I just happened to start school. I needed to set aside six hours every day to attend classes and complete homework, and there were all kinds of troublesome things like class meetings and lectures from time to time.
This led to the extremely miserable update volume of my previous book (this one definitely won't), but I still wanted to write that book well.
So the daily routine at that time was: living in a rented house, getting up in the morning to ride a bike to class, writing books in the afternoon, and doing homework in the evening.
It was midwinter at that time, and I always did everything alone, watching the snowflakes drifting outside the window, accompanied only by the cold wind. Honestly, it was a bit lonely.
However, fortunately, there were books.
Then another blow came, because I kept ordering takeout, I got food poisoning and went to the emergency room...
Surgery and recuperation took nearly a month. When I came back, the readers of that book had also flowed away. I am really sorry, I'm sorry...
Then came this book, which I opened during the winter vacation.
Well... how should I put it? When I wrote it, although I also fantasized about it becoming a hit, it was a fantasy after all. It really happened and I couldn't even believe it myself.
Thanks again to everyone for letting me have at least a week of fantasy period, although perhaps only a week.
Writing this book so far, there have been two biggest blows. One was that there was a problem with the plot, so I stayed up all night to revise the text. I am very grateful for the tolerance of the readers who were chasing it at that time.
The second was that I encountered peers bringing rhythm. I hadn't achieved results before, so the first time I encountered it gave me great pressure. Later I realized that only peers would chase and scold you every day...
Except for these two blows, this book has been smooth sailing. I got on the Sanjiang and Small Trumpet that I had been thinking about, and I was so happy that I didn't want to wake up.
Sorry for talking too much idle talk, but I really can't describe my emotion at this moment in words.
I always feel that I am a failure, living foolishly for twenty-one years, love, friendship, family affection, nothing has gone smoothly. So far, it seems that only books have never let me down.
I put in my heart and blood, and it returns me with happiness.
I am really grateful for everyone's support. My happiest thing every day is watching everyone's comments and votes.
Whenever I see a reader say they found a good book, I can be happy for at least ten minutes.
Thank you all. It will launch tomorrow night at nine o'clock. Families who are capable, please support a first subscription and a monthly ticket. It only costs one dime.
Thank you!
