Chapter 326 Patient on the Plane_1
When the flight attendant left the area, Yin Tian turned his gaze back to Jiang Qingwu, "Miss Jiang, I really am sorry, it seems we may have had a misunderstanding earlier."
Jiang Qingwu glanced at Yin Tian and let out a cold snort, then turned her head away to the other side, refusing to look at him.
But Yin Tian persisted, asking, "Miss Jiang, I want to know, where did you get the pendant on your neck from?"
"What’s it to you?"
Jiang Qingwu asked, annoyed.
"It matters, and it matters a lot," Yin Tian replied earnestly, nodding his head.
"You’re sick," Jiang Qingwu said unapologetically.
Yin Tian didn’t speak, just stared straight at Jiang Qingwu.
Feeling irritated by his gaze, Jiang Qingwu raised her voice, "It’s mine, it’s my thing. Why are you asking so many questions!"
Yin Tian took a deep breath before saying softly, "I think, I might be your fiancé."
Jiang Qingwu was completely dumbfounded by Yin Tian’s words.
She turned her head back around to look at the man in front of her, "Are you out of your mind? Where’s your guardian? Why did they leave you here all alone?"
"I’m not joking with you,"
Yin Tian said as he took out a water-damaged marriage certificate from his bag, "Although this letter has been soaked in water, you can still see the character ’Jiang’ on it."
"If your family still recognizes this marriage certificate, then I believe your family would also have one that is identical."
Jiang Qingwu had wanted to scold Yin Tian, but seeing the sincerity on his face, she swallowed back the words she had been about to say.
She looked at him for a long while before finally speaking, "You’re sick."
She turned her head away once again, refusing to look at Yin Tian.
Time passed, and the plane finally took off.
A few minutes later, the plane had broken through the clouds and was cruising smoothly.
Yin Tian decided not to continue talking to Jiang Qingwu.
As long as he could confirm Jiang Qingwu’s identity, everything else would be easy to discuss.
Once they arrived at the Imperial Capital, a trip to the Jiang Family would leave Qingwu with no choice but to believe him.
He closed his eyes, intending to rest for a bit.
But less than ten minutes had passed when suddenly, an alarm sounded.
Following that, the plane’s broadcast system activated.
"Emergency notice, emergency notice, the passenger in business class seat 2 is having a cardiac emergency. If there is a doctor on board, please proceed to business class seat 2, thank you."
The announcement repeated three times, waking many passengers on the plane.
Hearing this, Yin Tian opened his eyes, unbuckled his seatbelt, and walked towards the business class section.
Jiang Qingwu watched Yin Tian with surprise—she hadn’t expected him to actually be a doctor!
She hesitated for a moment but finally decided to stealthily follow, curious to see if Yin Tian was truly capable.
Soon, Yin Tian had reached the business class, and there he saw an elderly man with white hair, lying in the aisle, surrounded by many people, with numerous other passengers sitting in their seats, craning their necks to witness the scene.
"What happened?" Yin Tian asked in a grave tone as he approached.
One of the flight attendants, who had seen Yin Tian before, immediately explained, "The gentleman wanted to go to the restroom, but he fainted as soon as he stood up."
Yin Tian nodded, "People with heart conditions, once they take a flight that climbs to a high altitude, are indeed prone to danger. Don’t you have medical personnel on this flight?"
"We do..." The attendant nodded sheepishly and then pointed to the medical crew, "It’s just that they say this gentleman’s condition is a bit complicated."
Yin Tian immediately walked over and crouched beside the old man.
He reached out and placed his hand on the man’s heart.
The old man’s heartbeat had nearly stopped; it required careful attention to detect the extremely faint heartbeat.
"This heart condition seems quite serious," Yin Tian murmured to himself.
"Yes, the patient has had several heart bypass surgeries, his heart is very fragile. This fainting spell was also due to a blood clot accumulating in the heart, leading to the coma," a medical staff member said. "The patient has Quick-acting Heart-saving Pills with him, but they shouldn’t be administered carelessly. We are at an altitude of several kilometers; administering the pills rashly could easily worsen the situation."
"Leave it to me," Yin Tian interjected calmly.
As he reached into his chest pocket for his needle pack, preparing to administer an injection to the old man, he was suddenly halted, "Stop! The patient is in a critical state right now; who are you? Do you have a license to practice medicine? Can you take responsibility if something happens to the patient?"
Yin Tian’s brow furrowed as he glanced at the person speaking.
The speaker was the plane’s co-pilot.
"The patient’s life is hanging by a thread. Are you planning to just stand by and watch him die?" Yin Tian retorted. "Don’t worry about whether I have a medical license. If I save him, wouldn’t that be saving a life?"
"You’re stopping me because you fear it might tarnish your airline’s reputation."
"But let me tell you now, in the face of life, reputation is worthless!"
