Chapter 515: Shadow Hall!_1
"Mr. Yin, I must implore you to grace us with your presence."
The man presented the invitation with utmost respect to Yin Tian.
"Fine, I will surely attend tonight."
"I am deeply grateful."
The man bowed deeply to Yin Tian and then turned to leave.
"This fellow is quite polite."
Yu Mingmiao commented softly from beside Yin Tian.
"It’s just that politeness now makes me worry that it won’t be the same once we actually get there."
"Are you concerned that this fellow’s master has something against you?"
"Perhaps I’m overthinking it, but Central City is a place that does not spit out bones once it has them, and we’ve just arrived. Being invited to a banquet so soon feels a bit off."
Upon hearing this, Yu Mingmiao nodded slightly, "It’s still best to be cautious."
"Let’s go, we should pick up your sister Qinwei and the others first."
With that, Yin Tian left the house with Yu Mingmiao, driving straight to the hotel.
Yu Mingmiao took out his phone and called Su Qinwei.
After explaining the situation, in less than ten minutes, Su Qinwei and the others walked out of the hotel.
"Over here, over here."
Yu Mingmiao stuck his head out and waved to Su Qinwei and the several girls.
After the women got into the car, they looked at Yin Tian in confusion. "Yin Tian, what’s the matter? Why did you call us out? Is there something going on?"
Yin Tian smiled lightly, "Taking you home."
"Home?"
The girls looked at each other in bewilderment, not understanding what Yin Tian was talking about.
Yu Mingmiao, with a smile on his face, explained the events that had transpired.
After the girls heard the explanation, they too were stunned, unable to believe that so much had happened in such a short period of time.
"All right, let’s go home!"
Yin Tian let out a chuckle, started the car, and headed with Su Qinwei and the girls to what was once the Sikong Family home.
Soon, Yin Tian drove back to their residence.
Yin Tian got out of the car with Su Qinwei and the girls, then noticed people unloading things from a vehicle, all sorts of furniture.
"To think becoming a first-class family comes with such benefits?"
Yin Tian raised an eyebrow in surprise at the sight before him.
Not only was the house provided for free, but even the furniture was delivered to their door.
"Come in."
Yin Tian led Su Qinwei and the girls into the house.
He took a seat while Yu Mingmiao began showing the girls around the new place.
Soon after, they came back to Yin Tian, "This place is too big; there’s no way a few of us could use all this space!"
Xia Nianbing looked at Yin Tian and said softly, "Why didn’t you choose a smaller house at the time?"
"Too big?"
Yin Tian shook his head and chuckled, "Don’t worry, it might not be big enough in a little while."
At these words, all the girls were perplexed, not understanding what Yin Tian meant.
Yin Tian gave a cryptic smile and did not offer any further explanation.
Another couple of hours passed, and the sky had already darkened.
Yin Tian was sitting in a wicker chair in the courtyard enjoying the cool breeze when he suddenly tensed slightly and opened his eyes abruptly.
"Who’s there?"
His voice rang out.
Yet, there was no reply.
Yin Tian let out a cold chuckle, stood up, and picked up a fork from the fruit plate next to him. With a flick of his wrist, the fork turned into a streak of cold light as it shot out.
Thwack!
The fork easily penetrated a large tree as if it were tofu, leaving only the small handle visible on the outside.
While still seated in the chair, Yin Tian was prepared to join a battle at any moment, "If you don’t show yourself now, I’ll be forced to invite you out."
"Master, please do not act; we will emerge," said a deep voice.
Before the voice faded, a rustling sound arose.
Several dark figures descended from different spots, and in the blink of an eye, more than a dozen people appeared around Yin Tian!
They faced Yin Tian and, without any hesitation, knelt on one knee, "Greetings, Master!"
Yin Tian scanned over them, "You are all from Shadow Hall?"
"Yes, Master," they replied, their heads bowed low in utmost reverence.
"Good."
Yin Tian nodded slowly and then asked, "Are there only you few here?"
"We are but the vanguard; many more of our brothers are on their way."
"Good, do you know why I’ve brought you here?"
"We do not know."
"To guard this place," Yin Tian stood up and said slowly: "If I am not here, no one is allowed to set foot in this place. If someone attempts to force their way in, show no mercy."
"Yes!"
All of them replied in unison, their voices not loud, but with an undertone of chill.
Yin Tian nodded in satisfaction, "Once everyone has arrived, you’ll discuss amongst yourselves and arrange for half to be visible and half to remain hidden, securing this place."
"Here, you are merely guards for the Yin Family, not assassins from Shadow Hall, understand?"
"We understand, Master!"
