Chapter 547: Apprenticeship Banquet!_1
Yin Tian opened both invitations.
Indeed, they were two nearly identical invitations.
Both invited Yin Tian to attend a mentorship banquet at the sole hotel in Central City at six o’clock in the evening.
"So, will you go?"
Jiang Qingwu couldn’t help but ask.
"Go, why not?"
Xia Nianbing covered her mouth to hide a giggle. "This is an invitation from two of Yin Tian’s dear disciples."
Yin Tian frowned and glanced at Xia Nianbing. "Clearly, these are invitations from two old treasures."
Despite saying so, Yin Tian truly planned to go and see for himself.
After all, he could tell the two individuals had no ill intentions, and there was no need to offend them by declining their hospitality.
Besides, what Zhen Songwen said made sense.
The power controlled by these two individuals had some weight in Central City; having the support of these two clans tied to his own ship would give him more leverage...
As night fell.
Yin Tian headed to the hotel solo, intending to attend the so-called mentorship banquet.
Upon arriving at the hotel entrance, Yin Tian saw Yuan Bao and an unfamiliar young man greeting guests.
Yuan Bao spotted Yin Tian from a distance, and although he felt somewhat embarrassed to face him, Yin Tian was still his grandfather’s mentor and his grandmother’s life-saver.
In their Yuan Family, Yin Tian had the seniority of an ancient ancestor!
He managed a smile and hurried forward, "Grand Tutor, you’ve arrived."
Yin Tian’s mouth twitched as Yuan Bao, who was older than him, addressed him as Grand Tutor.
The other young man also stepped forward and looked at Yin Tian with curiosity.
However, he clearly knew his manners better than Yuan Bao did, bowing deeply to Yin Tian before speaking up. "Are you my father’s mentor?"
"I suppose so..."
Yin Tian chuckled softly.
Upon hearing this, the young man’s face showed respect. "Greetings, Mentor, I am Hua Ling."
Yin Tian waved his hand. "Alright, no need for so much formality, just act normal... I haven’t arrived late, have I?"
"No, no..."
Yuan Bao shook his head repeatedly, "Only about half the guests have arrived. There’s still half an hour before the mentorship banquet starts. Grand Tutor, would you like to enter and take a seat first?"
"Sure."
Yin Tian replied and walked into the hotel.
Upon reaching the top floor of the hotel, Yin Tian saw that there were already twenty to thirty people present.
These two or three dozen people were clearly divided into two distinct groups, looking as though they were two completely unacquainted parties.
One group had a long, flowing Fortune, clearly a gathering of Feng Shui Masters.
The other was enveloped in the scent of medicine, undoubtedly a group of doctors.
"Not bad, it seems they didn’t invite any irrelevant people over."
Yin Tian nodded to himself in approval.
As Yin Tian arrived, all eyes naturally fell upon him.
The two groups suddenly realized that this newcomer did not seem to have any connection to either of their parties.
He directly walked over to an empty chair and sat down nonchalantly.
The crowd whispered and speculated about Yin Tian’s identity.
In the end, everyone came to the same conclusion.
No one present recognized Yin Tian!
"Hey, did you walk into the wrong place?"
A rather haughty young man said to Yin Tian.
Yin Tian turned his head and glanced at the young man.
From the young man’s attire and Fortune, Yin Tian could tell that he must be a Feng Shui Master.
"Talking to you, are you mute or something?"
Seeing Yin Tian remained silent, the young man stepped forward assertively. "This place is booked by the Yuan Family and Hua Family; irrelevant people are not qualified to enter."
"How do you know I’m unrelated to this place?"
Yin Tian countered.
"Some unknown fellow has the nerve to claim a relation here?"
The young man sneered with disdain, "None of us here recognize you."
"Exactly," came the chorus from the crowd, "No one from the three medical and three Feng Shui schools knows you, and you still dare to say you’re related to this place?"
"Though we don’t know how you sneaked in, you’d better leave now!"
"Seriously acting like you’re someone important."
"He definitely heard some rumors and decided to blend in."
Listening to the crowd’s mockery, Yin Tian shook his head helplessly.
Seeing none of the Yuan Family among the crowd and not feeling like explaining himself, keeping silent seemed like the best choice.
However, Yin Tian’s silence led these people to believe he was admitting guilt through his silence.
"Kid, if you don’t leave now, don’t blame me for calling security," the haughty young man stood in front of Yin Tian, "Will you leave on your own, or should I have someone ’escort’ you out?"
"Then call them, why shout it in my ear?"
Yin Tian responded in exasperation.
The young man’s anger was stoked by Yin Tian’s attitude, "Such arrogance! It seems you need a lesson."
Before the words were finished, he started to use a secret method, attempting to slam his own Fortune against Yin Tian!
